Although Komatta is more shounen-ai, the dynamic is quite similar. Both semes are seen as scary and tough, but they both have a soft spot for the uke, who is beautiful but tough. The ukes are often hit on by guys and girls call them cute, and they both know how to stand up for themselves and aren't dependent on the semes. In Komatta, they're roommates, so I think they get closer sooner in the story, but both mangas have well-developed relationships with great character development. Komatta is my favorite shounen-ai of all time, especially because of the mc, but Ashita is a very close
