The overall premise was very interesting... although I predicted the end from the MAL summary. But I liked the concept of two people being "linked" together. Overall, it was definitely worth the read.
I personally loved the art and thought it was charming. Don't get me wrong, I've seen much more beautiful mangas than this one, but something about the simplicity of the drawings was really pleasant. The people were proportionate, which is more than most mangas can boast.
I felt the characters didn't get developed enough, and the ending was a little rushed. But very few one-shots have fully-developed

Honestly, I just gave it 7s on everything. This was my first one-shot that I ever read and I was a bit disapionted with it.
story-I thought that the story line sounded so good but i wasn't as spectacular as I thought. It starts of with a begoning that really does catch your attention. She wakes up and has this misterious red string attatched to her. Like I said it really did have a good start. If you are sitting idle, wondering if something like "fate" or "destiny" really exists, make sure to read this oneshot!
It starts out of the ordinary, and disappears the same way, leaving a big impact in your head via the last few pages! Something that leaves you asking for more.. The characters are very refined and dialogues to the point. No need to keep re-pondering over whats going on, everything comes out as clear as the Red Thread :) P.S: I could see the thread too ;) |
