What can I say, I pretty much fell in love with it within the first few episodes.
I immediately looked at the plot as soon as I saw the title. I have never read Romeo and Juliet but I know the general story, and I must admit, the plot captured my heart and I started watching it right away. I love the development in the relationship between Romeo and Juliet. A forbidden love that wasn't supposed but did, in a way it was a beautiful thing. I expected to competently follow the original story, but I was quite wrong, it really had a big fantasy element

and I actually think it made the story way better then it would have been if it had followed Shakespeare's original story. A floating island in the sky, a magical tree that keeps that island alive, dragon steeds and godesses are defiantly not part of Shakespeare's work, but it made the anime that much more enjoyable. For me though, as much as it was a "happy" and "exciting" anime, it was also a bit tragic. There were a few times when I was like ´ Д｀~noo! but there were also many times I was like ⌒▽⌒ ~yay! I won't spoil anything, but the ending really is a moving but tearful one (well, it was for me anyways).
The art at first ind of caught me off guard. It's like a semi realistic type of anime compared to just normal, skinny, big eyed anime. I honestly didn't like it at first, but you get used to it and in a way it grows on you. The backdrops were nice though, the castles and the rest of the kingdom were drawn really good and it showed the historical element of the show quite well. As it is, I am a bit of a sucker for historical anime and manga, and when the art doesn't look very historical and nice then I am completely turned off, but this anime was drawn quite appropriately to fit the time period of the anime was set in.
As for the sound, I give it a thumbs up. The opening them was so beautiful and I sill listen to it now, and every time I hear it all I can think of is the anime. I watched the anime dubbed, so I don't know how the sound was in Japanese, but the actual story of Romeo and Juliet takes place in Europe, so of course the anime did too. So, to suit the time and setting they used the "Old English" when talking . Sometimes I found it a bit hard to grasp what they were saying because of the way they talked, but for the most part I understood and it really helped give the anime the historical factor.
I loved the character development. As I said the relationship development between Romeo and Juliet was really good. It was paced just right, never to fast and never to slow. Seeing them fall in love throughout the anime and watching them over come all the hardships and challenges they faced together was great and kept me on the edge of my seat in a way. I also liked how the director didn't try to over include the supporting cast. Sometimes they can be too much and too overpowering for their role but in Romeo X Juliet the supporting cast was there just to be the supporting cast and that was really good. All of the characters did their part in the anime and all fit their role perfectly.
Overall I think I have made it fairly clear that I very much so enjoyed this anime and it is definitely one of favorites. If you are looking for a great romance and historical anime with some fantasy and action, you will love Romeo X Juliet! ^.^

Karin was in my opinion a very good anime, I was hooked after a few episodes. To me, the story itself was unique because of Karin's condition. I honestly never would have thought of anything like that, so it gave the anime some origonality. I really enjoyed the develpoment of the relationship between Karin and Kenta throughout the anime. It had a nice pase that never felt like it was going ot fast or dragging on and being to slow, just a moderate pace that really added to the effect. that very often. It definatly had a big comical element along with the romance that overall made it rather enjoyable.
The art was pretty good although I found it rather average. "Kentas drawn kind of weird..." was something that crossed my mind when he made his first apperence in the anime, but I learned later on that they way he was drawn was important to his role and certain scenes. One thing that in a way kind of bugged me was that Kain's grandmother looked younger then Karins parent's and to me that was a little odd, but other then that the art was good.
But as for the sound, to me, was not as good as the rest of the show. I watched it dubbed and I personally found some of the characters voices kind of annoying. Aside from that the sound was ok.
I thought that the character development in this manga was very good. As I said, I liked the development of Karin and Kenta's relationship, but also I really liked the bond between Karin and her little sister. Although it was there from the begining of the anime, it was cute and her little sister ended up being a much bigger part in the anime then I thought she would have been. Also, as the anime progresses, Winner Saint Clair comes into the picture and the fact that he is a vampire hunter and loves Karin was very ironic. He ended up being quite important too, and the relationship development between him and Karin's friend, although minimal, was cute.
Overal I found this anime quite enjoyable and for anyone who wants to have a good laugh and see a nice romance anime, I would recomend you watch it ^.^

First review! Anyways, so to start off I'll just say that this was a fairly manga and I gave 6 and 7's on everything out of 10. I read this manga a while ago, so please bear with me ^.^ The story itself was good although a bit unoriginal in my opinion. When I first read the plot I can remember thinking that it was a bit different then what I typicaly would read but it sounded interesting, so I gave it a try. I would have given the manga a higher score because overall it was a pretty good read, but for some reason

I found it very hard to get into. For me, I don't know if it just didn't have that "wow!" factor or what, but you know when you just get drawn into the manga and keep reading and reading and can't wait to see what happens next and see how everything is going to pan out, well for me, this manga didn't really have it. As i said it was good, but I was slightly disapoineted with it in all honestly. It had a bit of a love triangle in it and thats probably what made it score a 6 instead of a 5 but I wish that love triangle went somewhere. It was just kind of there, but with no big development. Neither one of the guys really hit it off with her, they were just friends and it stayed like that until the very end, and it kind of just left me hanging. I was like "thats it?". But i guess it was an ok manga, even without a big love development. I thought the art was good and every character fit his/her look along with his/her role well. Each character fulfilled their purpose and did their job, but I found the characters to all be fairly simple. Each one was unique and different but none really made me go "Wow, that's a memerable character!" if you know what I mean. As for my overall enjoyment, I would say that for me it was a 6 out of 10. It was ok but no REALLY good in my opinion, but if you have some spare time on your hands, I'd sugest you give it a read.

Over all it was a good manga. Just by reading the plot you can tell there is a strong female role who has a goal in mind and she works hard to achieve. I really like how Sei-ann was so deternmind and kept following her dream. Also it's full of twists that really make you want to keep reading. there were never any particularaly dull moment's, it was just one of those manga's I couldn't put down until I was finished! I really enjoyed this manga and thinks its worth a read.

I liked the characters. When the manga first begins we think of sertain characters as the exact opposite as what they really are and when their true identity is revieled it really gives it a great twist.All the characters fit their roles nicely making for a better manga.

I really like this maga and deffinatly recomend giving it a read. It was very good and it was good at captivating it's audience :)

Honestly, I just gave it 7s on everything. This was my first one-shot that I ever read and I was a bit disapionted with it.
story-I thought that the story line sounded so good but i wasn't as spectacular as I thought. It starts of with a begoning that really does catch your attention. She wakes up and has this misterious red string attatched to her. Like I said it really did have a good start. When she finally finds out what the string it attactched to, i was like yeah this will be a great oneshot! But it really went downhill from there. After

that it felt like it jumped around to much, it felt like it all was happening to fast and it was all so sudden. But I will admit, I sort of liked the ending.It had a bit of an interesting twist, like it was almost slightly different then what you expected
art-I liked the art. It was a bit different then normal art. I read in a different review that it was the Korean style so thats why it was slightly different. I havd never seen that before but it made the manga look realistic. I personally still prefer the japanese style of art but it was cool to see something different.
character- i liked the characters i only sort of liked. with most mangas I read I find something about the characters I don't like. I thought They were a bit dull. It's not that they were emotionless but not a wide range of expression was shown. She never really looked into where the string had come from and if it would be there for ever of if it could be removed. She simply accepted the situation. The person she was attatched to just did the exact same. There was no fighting back or anything, it was like they implied that they were defeated imediatly.
enjoyment- I think I have made It fairly clear that this manga had it pro's and con's but overall it was alright and if you need something to pss the time this is a quick read and to some extent, enjoyable. Although it was slightly unoriginal, it had its intresting parts that kept you reading.

it was a good show but even the plot never really made me want to immidiatly watch it. in fact, i read this plot months and moths ago and never watched it until novemeber. it was ok but i never really fell in love with it.
