This manga has the potential to be one of the best, but several flaws hold it back.
Positives:
✅ Story: The plot follows a ninja tasked with protecting a girl (whose backstory remains unknown so far). Meanwhile, he navigates his school life, possessing no notable traits aside from his combat abilities, while also fighting villains to protect the girl. While this concept is not entirely new, it is still enjoyable.
✅ Main Character: Personally, I find the protagonist to be great—better than most shounen or romance leads.
✅ Villains: The antagonists introduced so far have stylish designs, and the battles with the protagonist have been entertaining.
✅ Character Design &
...
Artwork: The character designs and overall art style are visually appealing.
Negatives:
❌ Pacing: The story moves too fast, with almost every chapter featuring a fight. This diminishes the impact of battles since they happen too frequently. The fights should be spaced out more to give them meaning. Additionally, the relationship between the protagonist and the girl progresses too quickly without sufficient development.
❌ Harem Element: After reading just 20 chapters, it seems like the story is shifting into harem territory. Honestly, this aspect feels unnecessary—every girl suddenly falling for the protagonist with minimal interaction makes it feel forced. The way female characters instantly swoon over him is typical of harem clichés and weakens the story’s overall impact.
Side Characters:
🤔 I’m unsure whether to consider them a strength or a weakness. While some are good, others feel completely unnecessary and, frankly, a bit cringe-worthy.
Final Thoughts:
Overall, the manga is enjoyable and worth a read, but its fast pacing and forced harem elements reduce its quality. If you enjoy fast-paced action with strong characters, you might find it appealing.
