To whom I would recommend this manga: Young people or people that love all anime's and manga's habits and specif ways to tell stories and develop characters. To be clear, I'm talking about the slow development, the mix of mature and childish scenarios, and how its commom for the childish scenario to become the main focus instead of the serious one.
It has a interesting launch point, the male protagonist certainly has deep troubles, traumas and challenges to overcome with his situation. But thats not dealth with the emotion deepeness it should have, so it feels kinda shallow.
The female protagonist has her bright like personality
...
and demeanor, which is good. But agains, she lacks in depness and development, she feels flat as a person.
The scenarios are too childish. With such a dark theme, such light scenarios are not that great.
The pacing is slow. Mangas do it a lot to keep you reading for a long time, but this one lost me. With a entire volume out, the protagonist did not even communicate some of the basic stuff he should have to the female protagonist. It really feels like the story will be dragget out way longer than it need to be, or cancelled and have a extremely rushed ending, or even be cancelled without a ending.
Overall, I feel like it should be a really short story, maybe 30 ~ 60 chapters, but considering how litte development and story the author adds each chapter, he seems to aim at dragging the story for at least 200 chapters if the story becomes successfull, or will make the story have very little development and deppeness so it can be ended sooner.
It is a good non serious read though, you can enjoy it, use it to pass time, get curious about what happens with the characters and the story. Its just very hard for it to become something you love, remember and recommend to other people.
