This is better then the parent manga. I'm serious. I don't know why a spin off manga of Iruma where he joins the mafia instead of going to hell exists, but I ain't complaining because this is genuinely amazing! Getting to see all of the characters from Iruma in a new light with new backstories, new motivations, and new character designs was way more enjoyable then I expected. If you like Iruma at all you should read this. This takes the exact same plot from the parent manga but executes it perfectly and in a new interesting setting, with even better art. There really is

This is my first review!
Story : ★★★☆☆ I do think Iruma taking the mantle of the young boss is an interesting premise, given that the Iruma (we all know and love) is a pure and innocent soul, incapable of inflicting harm. But that's the issue. I'd much rather have the gruesome nature of meddling in the mafia business challenge Iruma's whole identity more, and gradually morph his fantastical beliefs to a more realistic one. Obviously, I can't foresee if future chapters tackle this issue so I'll leave it at that. If having Iruma be the same positive beacon of optimism is your cup of tea, ... Oct 20, 2024
As someone who never read the original series, this series is still a blast.
- Art, (8 / 10): the character design seems to be accurate to their main story counters parts while keeping them human (i.e. hair cuts or hats). The art style it general is really good and more sharp & eye catching than the current chapters of the the original series (around ch. 360’s). - Story, (8 / 10): Pretty heartfelt for a mafia story.
