This is a very solid and wholesome manga revolving around the usual trope of fantasy adoption with a DILF, but it doesn’t turn weird. I’m usually not a fan of this trope, since it’s the same wholesomeness inserted into your face every time with the classic cliche plot lines, but this one hits a bit different.
The world-building of this manga is kinda meh. Initially, it was decent, but then there were tons of plot detail insertions for the sake of humor or plot progression. As such, the characters fall under the same rushed and out-of-place introductions.
Despite the lack of explanations, the manga’s sole

purpose is to be cute, and it is. The children are mostly well-written characters that have some kind of memorability and personality — there are some that I’m still iffy on, since they haven’t gotten proper arcs — along with the mc being respectable and likable. He has some depth added to him, but it’s also nothing noteworthy.
As for the “side” characters, their introductions were forced, like noted before, but they add a nice element of humor or plot into the story, so it’s not the biggest problem.
A decently wholesome manga with a bit of humor that gets dark every now and then — not much worth noting, but it’s pretty good for someone who doesn’t even like this genre.
You guys know this is just my opinion, right?
