Im on chapter 3 rn but so far its good. made by the same guy who made kaguya-sama and oshi no ko, so you already know it'll be good. isn't drawn by him though, but the art is still good fr. there's not enough for me to give it anymore than a 7 rn.
It's about a girl who calls an agency to help her with love, but the boy she's interested in does the same. bizarre plot fr, but its good so far. anyway, that girl nor the boy are the mcs. that's all i can say fr.
You'll probably like it, though it isn't a

Do you sometimes have the feeling that somebody's work is celebrated for the wrong reasons? Do you feel that people tend to misunderstand their work?
That's how I feel about Akasaka Aka as a writer. Looking at the rating and considering the hype around this manga died down nearly immediately after release, it's easy to understand what happened. Renai Daikou suffered greatly from the comparison with this author's other romcom manga, Kaguya-sama. And it's easy to understand why. Kaguya-sama had it all right from the beginning: an interesting premise, a loveable cast, some of the best comedy out there, and most importantly, a profound engagement of the ... Jun 19, 2024
Love Agency had a difficult road to walk, as the followup to the legendary romcom Kaguya, from the esteemed author Aka Akasaka. It made a rough first impression, with a convoluted premise and jokes that didn’t quite land. At the time, I kept up with it for a few chapters before dropping it, disappointed that one of my favorite mangaka seemed to be phoning it in.
I was wrong. Once it finished, and I got around to binging it, I found myself unable to stop reading it. Love Agency is a hilarious and heartfelt romantic comedy, and while it’s not at the heights of its predecessor, ... Jul 24, 2023
At first, Renai Daikou seems to be an ordinary rom com, but it's actually a big game of lies and deception by our two protagonists. Sound familiar? The overarching theme of lies and hiding one's true self that's present in several of Akasaka's works is prevalent in this one as well, though so far it seems to be more on the lighthearted side.
Plot 8/10: The plot is quite original. There are two protagonists who have very different and traditionally incompatible personalities. They both enlist the help of a so called love agency to garner the affection of the other. Though, it turns out that the ... Mar 14, 2024
Its really good, read it.
Akasaka has proved himself with Oshi No Ko and Kaguya, at the start I thought this one seemed weak in comparison, but its growing stronger on each chapter. Most characters are good and lovable, they're really flashed out, the first 5 or so chapters were kinda misleading making most of them seem kinda generic, I think that was on purpose like a interesting plot twist. Characters interact with each other in such a human way, it seems like watching real people relationships, from making mistakes to having some behavior patterns and desires, its very captivating. Story is very good and original, hard to predict, ... Jan 7, 2024

Alright, this manga is really bad. Like, I’m not even kidding, each chapter makes me want to pour bleach in my eyes… HOWEVER, I just can’t take my eyes off of this piece of trash; the plot is such a mess that you can’t help but want to see the ending. The plot, probably some of the most disorderly junk to exist, is incredibly inconsistent in its logic and pacing; there are so many “obvious” routes that the plot can take, but it somehow chooses the worst ones available. Because of this, not much of a connection to the actual story or characters form, but ... |
