Sometimes I wonder why mangas like these exist where it’s the same rinse and repeat concept each chapter where the characters are so generic and stupendous; however, I then remember the sheer amount of wish-fulfillment and fetishes that people can derive from its existence.
The characters are all so basic — there are your typical main characters who are too popular and loser-like for their own good and are filled with inconsistencies in nature and attitude — these characters then act accordingly for plot’s sake, which is some of the most infuriating interactions on planet earth. In this manga, you have a slow-paced romance story with a twist.
The two main characters are regular students and one of them happens to be of a larger figure. Story-wise, it involves both of them practicing bonding or physical interactions. I don't think I have seen many titles focusing on this genre as a story, so perhaps it's rare. There are no extreme, over-the-top, or adult-like themes going on here. The guy and girl are students so it's expected their thoughts and interactions are about the same level. Romantic development is there though it builds very slowly, which is fine considering the unique story. There aren't enough chapters (translated) to explain ... |
