Another day, another manga or story utilizing the ever-so-popular reincarnated into a game trope. Not that I'm complaining, as I prefer this kind of isekai over most premises nowadays. Anyway, to get into the actual review, the manga is incredibly anticlimactic and awkward. The art doesn't make sense, and the resolutions of each conflict are also nonsensical. Despite all of that, it somehow is still enjoyable with its own twist on the characters and solid world-building.

To say the least, the plot line radiates "clicheness" with the author incorporating the typical reforms and resolutions of plot, hyping up moments only for them to be solved or ... dismissed in a panel or two in the most common manner. Though the plot may not be the best, the premise alone makes it readable or tolerable compared to the rest of the usual isekais utilizing the same clichés.

As for the characters, they are separable and have a personality outside their author-given box; the mc and supporting cast also have some absurd-like characteristics, making their impact on the story positively or making it enjoyable. Their developments are also supplemented by the author's pleasing introduction or explanation of the world and their system, not rushing an overload of information -- a common mistake in most isekais.

Despite this manga's glaring flaws, there wasn't one moment where it became boring. There were some unintended comedic moments where the developments were written poorly it becomes funny; however, that adds a bit of engagement, which is better than none.

So this Manga follows the usual isekai into a bad guy character who dies early and strives to become better.
This MC is blank as paper with no hobbies, goals, or aspiations, just a literal game addict who only plays the same eroge during and after work hours.

The dude was a simple slacker for his entire life so he strives to achieve the ideal winner life through grit and commitment. So far, this specific take of the " fat to fit trope" is set up for the long run. It is made ardently clear in Chapter one the original bad guy is pure evil, so expect ... the resistance and reactions of other characters to not be sugar coated.
