Welcome back to another episode of “We’re not blood-related, so everything’s perfectly fine and legal!” But there’s just one small problem: Why is this manga actually good? Let’s be clear here; the plot isn’t good or original, nor are the character the most original, but their interactions are actually wholesome and pretty cute, which is enough to overpower my broken moral compass.
I’m usually not fond of incest, imouto stories, but this might be one of the few exceptions due to the characters having good chemistry and the small rationale of a sibling. The brother and sister are actually slightly rational with their thinking, mainly

the brother, which provides a nice juxtaposition from the usual perverted mcs. Because of this, the whole incest plot line is forgettable, for the better, while also retaining all of the “goods” when it comes to imouto stories.
The plot isn’t the best, but it also isn’t lacking that much; there could be more side characters, possibly a love rival, but the manga mainly focuses on the development of their ill-fated lovers, which works as well. At the end of the day though, the plot’s shallow, but it suffices by providing a calm, nice atmosphere.
Could this manga be better? Yes. Could this manga be worse? Absolutely. The way the author just swerved pass all of the do nots in an incest manga is relatively amazing; there could be more depth here and there, but the manga executes a wholesome manga decently.
