Initially, I hated this manga because of how bad it actually is, and I was going to put this aside as one of those harem mangas with good art but a god-awful story; yet, this same god-awful storytelling was so charming to read as a refresher.
To be blunt, there should absolutely be no reason on why this manga is a harem — the mc’s ambitions are set clear, and the introduction spoils virtually half of the story; however, the harem genre doesn’t need to have good storytelling, since it’s one clouded with unfiltered fun due to how bad some of the cliches and events are
...
executed.
At times, this manga does an in your face fan service for absolutely no particular reason, and at the next moment, there’s supposed to be this cute resolution to the most ridiculous of situation; and yet, all of the developments were so unhinged and ridiculous that I couldn’t help but be intrigued and smile.
The characters are about what’d you expect of a poorly done time travel harem — the mc is as pathetic as ever despite being a full-grown adult, and the fmls are all somehow in love with the mc after a brief interaction — but they are all so poorly done that their “bad archetypes” become increasingly entertaining.
Anyway, change your mindset when approaching this manga — I initially had this down as a 4 something, but then I realized that its entirety was pretty engaging and fun to read.
You guys know this is just my opinion, right?
