Synopsis

Lelouch Lamperouge is a Britannian student living in Area 11, the land that was once known as the country of Japan. In 2010, the small island nation was invaded and stripped of its identity by the powerful Holy Britannian Empire.

After witnessing the crash of a military transport plane, Lelouch wanders into the midst of a restricted area in order to investigate the wreckage. His journey is cut short when patrolling Britannian soldiers threaten to execute him for trespassing. Fortunately, he is saved by the sole survivor of the crash: a mysterious woman named C.C. who he found confined in the plane's cargo. She grants Lelouch the power of Geass, a supernatural ability that demands the absolute obedience of those it is used upon, making his commands undefiable.

Now armed with devastating power, Lelouch assumes the persona of the revolutionary figure Zero, vowing to obliterate the accursed Britannian Empire and those who once wronged him many years ago.

Lelouch vi Britannia (a prince of Britannia), hiding under the alias Lelouch Lamperouge, is given a great power--the power of Geass--by a mysterious girl. The power grants him the ability to give an order to anyone. He realizes he could change the world through his power to become emperor of Britannia and create an ideal world for his sister, Nunnally. However, the Geass he was given is far more destructive and powerful than he could imagine.

Code Geass is my absolute all-time favorite anime, so when I heard that they were going to make a manga out of it, I was actually excited to read it. Boy was I disappointed.

Parts of the plot were, of course, tweaked, but the thing is, I love the anime because of all those scenes. It would've been more enjoyable if they just stuck with the anime's plot and added some extra scenes here and there. But no. My disappointment came crashing down onto me the moment the truck crash was changed into a plane crash. Most of the tweaks they did to the plot were ...
