It is similar because in both mangas, there is someone that is trying to bring justice to the world in such ways that you would have never thought of. They both have main characters who go to the extremes to get what they think is better for the world.

These two manga are so alike to the point that the story is absolutely amazing. Record of Fallen Vampire is about a vampire king name Strauss who had abandon and destroy his own kingdom. Code Geass is about a disowned prince name Lelouch vi Britannia who has a deep hatred for his birth empire. In both manga, it talks about how both main character have to use their mind, strength, and sheer will power to obtain their goal. They both have a lonely role where they are always in the position of losing someone they loved. The role that is known as "The King". Both the main  read more

zennou no noa haven't got too far for scanlation but both of the story have the same kind of ideal, a boy as a main character and intelligent, wanted to change the world with their power, a girl who would support that main character... Noa and Lelouch have the same kind of sanity ( i guess but no offense to any of the fan out there okay~~) and characteristic. so if anyone who love to read/watch either of these manga are welcome to read the other one if you haven't ...!

They both have main characters who try to control people and society through suggestions and orders (Lost+Brain by Hypnotism Code Geass by Geass) and both want to make society a better/more ideal place

Both protagonists are using supernatural powers to become someone prominent in life, someone who has all the authority to make a change. Eventually both main characters get a team together that helps support them to achieve that goal. Both manga's share Drama, Supernatural, Psychological, and Seinen genre components.

Changing the world... Everybody wants to it, but most of us simply don't have the ability to do it. But what if you would give that ability to a genius? One of the greatest mental battles ever would occur and it would be so epic that you wouldn't be able to stop reading it. That is what these manga are about although the main characters each work on another scale (one company vs the world), both stories are equaly exciting and you will never forget about them ever again!

Both Gaksital and Code Geass are the epitome of Tragic Hero's rebellion. In both tragic stories, the main characters, Lee Kang-To and Lelouch Lamperouge have a hatred for their respective governments on a personal level and a clashing ideals-level. Both of them are from noble heritage, but through traumatizing events, become your average citizens. Both of them start their rebellion after experiencing a life-changing event that calls them to adventure. Both Kang-To and Lelouch are morally ambiguous characters, they do "bad" as well as "good". They can be seen as both heroes and villains depending on the audience's ideals/beliefs. They are both incredibly smart and  read more

They both go over the same themes and attack on titans ending is a clear rip off of the code geass ending

Epic mecha battles, a threat that might destroy the world as the main characters know it. Both of these manga feature some of the most epic mecha battles I have ever seen. The main character in both manga is angry at his dad and fights in order to show this to his dad. If you like one of these manga, there's a big chance that you like the other one too.

Both have a morally ambiguous mastermind anti-hero for a protagonist. In both, he uses questionable means to fight for his goals.

Both series are about people trying to change the country/system by using their supernatural powers while staying incognito.

In many ways, both Kurosawa and Kitahara stem their mannerisms from Lelouch. In regard to Kurosawa, we have someone who is relatively cunning and has a justified purpose. In regard to Kitahara, we have someone who wishes for revenge and would do what it takes to exact her wishes. In fact, they both parody Lelouch in the series.

Not a very likely pair i know, but both the main characters in these manga have a secret identity that deals in crime if you like D.N.Angel and you're looking for something more serious i'd give this a try

I would say Maoh is Code Geass without robots on roller-skates... if not for Geass' manga adaptation having removed the robots on roller-skates. Supernatural powers exist. An attempt is made to take control of the masses by a gifted individual and his equally gifted comrades and, in-turn, gain a foothold in Japan, with the intent being to become a god-like figure. Mental duels and do-or-die situations are ten a penny. The key difference between Geass and Maoh is that Maoh's lead is the one trying to stop his nemesis from gaining complete control over his town--he's not attempting to start a rebellion himself. He has to walk  read more

Similarities would be the discrimination of a large group of people, overall the aspect of a political conflict (though they are of different dimensions), oppression of the main character by his own family, the stoicism of the main character and him being a siscon.

main protagonist, that was once among the ranks of the rulers but was betrayed by his greedy peers, tries exact revenge against them. main differences: -Ubel Blatt's antagonist are actually weak but they have the people's believe with them (deceived people) and Code Geass's antagonists are actually powerful and rule over the people -Ubel Blatt is more action knights and Code Geass is like chess with mecha (strategic)
