MC starts off weak but gets an OP item and has a lot of knowledge because he's sent back in time, story is told from the perspective of him going back in time and trying to solve issues he previously encountered while weak but now with OP powers.

Good character relationship dynamic, more of a team-based story where the OP MC helps out people he wasn't able to last time, very refreshing in general to have a story that doesn't just focus on the MC's progress, but also how they interact with other people and influence the world around them, other than people just fanboying over ... them.

Writing involving the powers with norse gods is kind of cringey, not that much of a problem in the early chapters but I could see it making the plot kinda weird in the future.

I never like reviewing these kinds of manwhas due to how commonplace they have become and how they virtually have no diversity from each other. However, this manwha in particular pulls away from the rest with the ability to set different moods: comedic, mysterious, satisfaction, and scariness.

Along with the overall ambiance, the plot line has been established with a goal in mind, which is much different from the usual “get stronger and survive with the system, think about the ending later” plot-lines.

As for the characters, the main character is cunning but also has morals, not wanting to repeat the past mistakes and grievances of not ... intervening. Side characters are also well-established by using the mc as a sharpening stone to become stronger and developing their personality.

It’s a lovely read, especially if you’re a mythology fanboy, due to the Nordic incorporation, but it can also come off as a bit cringey. But hey, you’re reading manwha/manga/manhua/whatever the hell, so should that be one of your biggest concerns?

PS: I get this manwha confused with another manwha that was released at the same time. It was about getting a rare necklace (?) in a VR game . . . Don’t know how it’s doing though because I dropped it at like chapter 13. Just some random thoughts…

The art in chapter 1 is quite nice, but in chapter 2 it changes a bit, then back in chapter 3 it goes to looking more like chapter 1 again up until the final panel which I wasn't a fan of the final panel art.

That aside the story does have a regression where after he gets a mythic item he gets to go back to a time of his picking with the mythic item still attached to him even though he kinda died.

The reason I dropped it is because in chapter 3 it hints to harem him taking a hand of a woman with ... big boobs and then other went in the background who were smiling at him. I searched up novel ending and it does end in a harem so I'm assuming the manhwa is going to take the same path. A shame because that ruins the story for me and the manhwa should have had a harem tag!
