Finally a good manhwa with a very common theme.
While it is not a well known work, nor it has outstanding art or an original story, it is very well written. The world is grim, the MC is traumatized and something that usualy never happens in such manhwa - he is not able to bash his head into anything and always win. Yes, the MC is overpowered, but he is not a god. He needs others and others need him. They go through plausible relations and have also plausible conversations as well as reactions to the world around them. The world itself is very well designed ... and makes me wonder when we will get to explore and know it more.

This is not a manhwa that will change your view of the genre. However, if like me you read through dozens of average manhwas and novels, each with the same plot and terrible implementation, this will be the one that finally manages to deliver on its promise. It is not outstanding in any way and it is not terrible in any way. It's done properly and that's something you cannot see very often with today's state of webtoons.

It's almost 3 years since chapter 100 was updated and how long is this hiatus will go on? And Second Coming of Gluttony has the same issue. Tbh both of them are really top notch In term of plot development and both are prequel and sequel series, I know that they published the two in the same year maybe makes it handy to manage by the publisher and the author as well. In case for you that wanted to read the LN version both are completed, this manhwa actually the first of its kind to introduce reincarnated MC from Gates/Portal outbreak dungeons.

This needs a Harem tag!

This started off really interesting, however as time went on it betrayed the readers and turned into a harem.
It started off with he went back in time to save his "loved one" and he focuses on getting stronger and you think "aww an MC who will stick to getting stronger and focus on their goal" they are "goal driven" nope....and it's upsetting that it waited until around chapter 84-98 to have the first harem sex scene. It went from being a fantasy manhwa of an MC who is trying to desperately trying to save his loved one to now and ... MC just focused on becoming stronger and the best, all while collecting wives. He lies and uses the first girl he slept with about having killed her sibling and then when she cries her heart out to him "I felt sorry for her so I comforted her that night" and it shows them going to the room and getting into bed, no smut scene from what I recall but it's very obvious and up front that he had sex with her. Meanwhile there is the second girl who is his future 2nd wife (or honestly I don't know what number she is but she will become one of his future wives)

The story just dropped the whole "I will save my loved one" and became a mess, a desperate male authors dream harem.
It lost the point of the story, it's interesting spark and became just any other harem out there.
