Kumakura-san to Boku is just a really fun read. It has several strong themes and motifs. The characters are developed fairly well given its length. It's one of the few romance manga where you can understand the relationship between the MMC and the FMC and it doesn't seem contrived, random, or forced. Hachiya's feelings for Kumakura make perfect sense in the context of the narrative, and her feelings also make sense. Hachiya being somewhat dense also makes perfect sense given his past, and the author doesn't drag out the dense bit for 200 chapters like some manga do. within the themes being discussed. One character's presence feels hollow and it feels like there should have been more there. Rather than what he was introduced as, he should've been introduced as the brother's butler given the fact that he just never comes back up after that chapter. Kumakura being hands down top 5 cutest girls in animanga cancels that writing hiccup out so really there's nothing else I can rate this but 10/10. It takes a fun and interesting concept, expands on it well, with an extremely cohesive narrative and likeable characters. There was honestly a lot more room to develop other characters besides the main 3, but not in 14 chapters. For a 14 chapter romance it does everything perfectly.
