This series was something, I don't even remember what happened towards the last 30 chapters. I had these sequences of just reading it and me finally waking up from a weird fever dream to find myself in a weirder time than my dream. The only satisfaction I found myself to remember from reading it was from the first like 40 chapters, after that it just kept doing something that I never got interested in.
Art - 5/10
Just plain, can't talk more about this since it was just plain art style from beginning to end: no highs, no lows (except if you were to call the whole
...
series as a low).
Story - 5.5/10
The only reason I gave it above 5 was because of the satisfaction from the first 40 chapters and a unique ending arc. However it doesn't erase my opinion of it being so forgettable I literally complained whenever I saw this series updated: "when will it be over" - probably me each week after chapter 80.
The series tried to be smart but the issue is the execution, since the only smart person (in general for all these power tripping op manhuas self insert) is the main character, but we all know how a Kirito (anime ver.) still acts (less than smart, but acts smart).
The only unique thing that I could actually give a little bit of credit was because of the unique plot twist:
**Spoiler section, part of story segment**
That everything was in VR, ando ur main character's goal (I think) was to attain the earth code (or something) to save the real world from collapse. I thought this was unique and should be appreciated since it was a wild ass pull to make it more interesting and it was, except for when I woke up from a fever dream to see a character clad in Naruto's Six Paths chakra mode, that made me loudly say: "what the f###?"
**End of spoiler section, part of story segment**
Characters - 4.6/10
It should probably be "Character" since everything revolves around our main character, sure the author attempted to build character for other characters, but physical strength isn't character: it's a lazy excuse of writing which results in nothing for the story, it would still in the end just fall back to our main character to save the day. It's just reader's satisfaction, nothing noteworthy, more like brainrot.
Personal View - Happy it's over.
Happy it's over.
Happy to not repeat "uuuh, this again" every week when a new chapter got released.
Happy to not see this updated alongside another series which I thought was literally the same because of the title, art style and small plot points, because this is just a CTRL+C and CTRL+V from all brainrot power tripping op main character.
Overall - 5/10 or is it?
It's actually closer to 4.5/10. Nothing noteworthy, except for the spoiler section in story segment.
Would actually not recommend, but if you like a plain story power-tripping-self-insert main character like Kirito, then go for it.
