its a 6.7 for me. it was an entertaining read up till like the last 50 chapters which felt like the author couldn't execute the ending that well. but the rest was satisfying enough to recommend it if u don't have anything else.

its a classic "portals opened up on earth but the mc was teleported to another place for the first like 4 yrs and became op in that other place only to return back to earth at level 1 but still with exponential power growth" type manga. its a trope that i like so i read it but the ending was still kind ... of disappointing.

To summarize what this series is about its Rom-com between a plain-looking guy working at a supermarket & Gal who head over heels for him after he saves her from a bird attack and immediately leaves but his nametag was left on the ground(Cinderella type shi). Her immediate and continued interest in him is what kept me reading. Also i am totally in love with the art which helps a lot too, it is simple yet looks good and not generic at all. its art is just sublime.

as of writing this review this series has 28 total chapters but only the first 11 have been ... fully translated by scan group "painful nightz". hopefully another scan group takes over and continue translating it to English or it gets an official English dubbing.

i just dropped this series at the end of S1. S1 covers the financial arc this alone was very entertaining and made was an immaculate setup for the seasons to come, ended on the perfect cliffhanger to get into the next arc.

but as soon as i started the next chapter/season i realized something was amiss, the art went from a 8.4/10 to a 5.3/10. its art style for me was a gripping point, was unique enough to separate it from its most other manhwa but the beginning of S2 they changed artist and now its just so generic. keep in mind the art is ... not bad its just 2 steps under what it was previously.

if the art was its only change i wouldn't have dropped it but as another reviewer(AwesomestPanda) also mentions the storyline just jumps around. i think we missed a whole training arc too because new there's a new female character that idk if we already know her(because art changed so much) but she is now the mc's like student in combat training or sum.

but as of the S1 alone i really liked it and was really interested in the rest so i rated this series a 7. if you can ignore the heavy art change you could prolly understand the S2 and onwards story better then me but i couldn't, if i were to make a comparison i would compare this S1 to the S1 of the doom breaker manhwa. good art, good setups, good side character setups and a good power system setup. but this is the version of doom breaker that fumbled the bag

IDK what "furippaa" was on when they wrote their review but thats entirely wrong, he read 16 chaps and thought it was like SL????
the only similarity is the storyline archetype, with this i mean both have portal dungeons that are increasing and hunters. basically thats it. this series can be seen as an isekai/reincarnation manhwa. the mc is a porter that gets in an accident where he goes unconscious and in another world a super powerful mage is mid boss fight to escape uses reincarnation magic at same time as mc goes unconscious. and basically their soul/memories fuse. all this in chap 2. and mc ... later follows mage/technician path completely diff from SL

the art style is its own unique stylization(great art) that i cant find anywhere else.
story is good but its mainly a power fantasy.

as of this prequel it left much to be desired, it has given the reader some context of the mc's past and why they are the way they are but the way the mc goal is set up and completely forgotten at the last few chapters feels very lack luster. i feel it would've been better if they didn't give him that goal at all considering how he acts in dark lady.

it feels like it would be a national crime to even compare the art styles of the 2 parts but as a part 1 standalone it was fine/decent(positive kind). it was kind of generic ... but has a flare of uniqueness.

my experience with this series as a whole was me reading a lil of dark lady first, stopped early forgot about the series and came back to finish the whole series when i found this. i decided to read this first then go continue dark lady from the start and as of writing this review i am at 189 of dark lady. comparisons between the origin and dark lady will be inevitable as i still remembered some of dark lady even as i was reading the origin.

as a whole this manhwa is more like a prequel to fill some gaps and explain some part of the mc for dark lady instead of its own actual origin story. imo if u want to read it to fill the small gaps of the mc's previous world but its definitely not a requirement.
