Honestly this is literary one of the BEST MANHWA I'VE READ so far. Its so good I had to re-read it again. From the plot, characters its stupid good. Its quite rare to find a manhwa with a storyline that actually hooks you within the first chapter of few. I feel as if Dice is a HIDDEN GEM and is very very under appreciated. I highly recommend you try it out its actually that good and when you start readin it you'll end up findin yourself 50 chapters in already. Some characters felt flawed because they didn't get enough screen time but that doesn't stop ...

Well-written

I'd say Dice is an above average manhwa, however, it is not an insanely good one that you will think of as a masterpiece or a manhwa that will leave a long-lasting impression. Slightly above average is not quite right since it has pretty good art and the first half of the manhwa was actually good.

The story of dice in a nutshell is that of a bullied kid with no outstanding features but his courage which he shows until he gets "dice". In this world teens who get special dices can use them on anything they wish, like super human abilities, being more intelligent ... in a certain subject or improving how they look. A being called "x" distributes the dice among the teens in exchange of completing the quests he gives them. Early in the story X forces the teens to fight and do nasty things in order to get dice. The main character fights and improves his stats to fight X.

Art (7.7): The style isn't outstanding or different but it is well drawn and detailed. After the 100th chapter it gets good and there are some panels now and then where you will find yourself staring at it for longer than usual. (Good enough for a wallpaper)

Characters (6):The main character doesn't have a great backstory but his character development in the first half is good. Some secondary characters have a better backstory but they get little development. They are part of the story but behave pretty much in the same way they would as in the first ten chapters. The only exception here is Mio. Taebin also has a bit of character development but his screen time is cut then. I didn't find the cast of characters boring but they just lacked actual development and I could also find myself accurately guessing what they'd do.

Story (6.5): In the first half it was entertaining with excitement and getting hooked on what will happen next. The second half didn't present any new characters or development of the same quality as the first half. It wasn't quite boring but more than a few times I thought that I was reading a long chapter.

Entertainment(6.6): The first half was pretty good, it got me thinking about what I read for a few min after reading. The second half, I just lost my interest eventually in the story.

Overall: 6.67

You should give this manhwa a try if you have spare time. If not, I'd suggest reading the first 15-20 chapters, you will have a good idea of the setting and how it will be for the first half, then decide on whether to drop it or not. You might like it way more than what I did, or might want to just drop it and move on to something else from your plan to read list.

I didn't like the story at all. I thought that at some point the story was going to get better, but it didn't. If you are the type of person who likes stories that leave you with something, show you a lesson or at least the characters show some personal/mental development, then this manhwa is not for you. Basically it is just pure fantasy with characters that are not willing to accept the reality that is hard for each of them to live. And this happens from the beginning to the end of the manhwa, it does not leave any teaching and the story is ...
