A nice peaceful isekai with great vibes 90% of the time. Imagine "campfire cooking", but with more female characters and a more likeable MC.

Plot
middle aged guy -> accident -> isekai. has an inventory skill which can store anything and shopping skill to buy/store/sell items. Starts being a merchant, to sell goods purchased from his online shop, meets daughter of top merchant who falls in love with him (who didn't see that coming?) and so on. Mostly leads a comfy life traveling with his OP skills and slowly gets more and more involved with this world's nobles/monarchy as his fame spreads.

Honestly, it is a ... pretty chill manga. our MC is reasonably OP. He can basically conquer any girl with his tasty food as most food in this world is bland. He also can get rich by selling modern stuff from his online shopping AND he can sell isekai stuff like magic crystals to his online shop. buys things like solar panels and other equipment to build a small but modern house outside the town and so on. MC never faces any real difficulty / challenge

MC kills people if he believes that they deserve it eg: bandits, mercenaries etc.. He also has sex (mostly offscreen, so not really ecchi) with another adult (consenting) within the first 2 chapters. Compared to the usual shy wimpy japanese MCs of Isekai, this MC is a more realistic adult. The manga doesn't try to make a big deal out of the things, and stuff just happens at a rapid pace without much drama.

He eventually marries the daughter (lead FMC) of a top merchant, adopts an orphan kid, takes in two beastwomen as bodyguards and gains a pet. and is slowly building up a family while living in his portable comfy home (with electricity and all). we *may* be going a harem route.

In the arc around chapter 25, we have a noblewoman who is my favorite character of this series. She mostly just teases MC, but is really funny and full of energy.

It is not without its faults though. There's zero creativity in the story. It just feels unique due to the proper adult MC in the usual generic Isekai. MC wants an isolated peaceful life, yet his actions contradict himself. Despite knowing that everyone will want to exploit his powers, he still does things in a flashy way, garnering more and more attention. Then again, when did characters in isekai ever have a brain? :)

It is not ground breaking in anyway. It is just a really calming isekai where you slowly see MC develop relations with all kinds of people.

Now that MAL has officially labeled this complete, I can confidently say this was a nice distraction while it lasted, but not worth it in the end. I initially had this at a 7 before the manga ended up getting axed. It starts out in a way most people expect a shopping isekai would unfold (crazy that we have multiple examples now). Main character gets the option to convert other world currency and loot into credit that can be used to summon items from an existing online shopping network. I want to at least give some credit to the main character Kenichi for being self ... sufficient enough to be able to build, control complex machines, cook, and operate as an independent business man. He also has the confidence to take decisive action and doesn't fall apart at the touch of a pretty girl (he is 38 after all). Even if he didn't have this shopping power, he could have definitely acclimated through his own abilities (which honestly would have still made for a good story with this level of art quality!). Speaking of artwork, that's another big selling point. Characters are very expressive, the girls are cute (especially the catpeople), and the backgrounds are lively and detailed as well. Confrontation typically doesn't last that long. This is a slow-life type isekai, so don't expect there to be any demon lord slaying quest. Maybe a few small skirmishes here and there to give the online shopping network another chance to shine. Unfortunately, despite the positives I just mentioned, the harem tag is what sours the experience in the last quarter of the manga, with Kenichi's decisions mostly being dictated by his party of women. It looked like the story might have been building up to something well beyond what you could call merely 'slow-life'. Unless the anime adaptation decides to go further with it, the novel is the only way to know for sure.

I initially marked this as 'Not Recommended' and, at least for the manga, I still feel this way unless a continuation story is made. However, remembering all the other positives I mentioned made me bump this to 'Mixed Feeling'. Manga getting axed is just the worst and a big reason for my low score (I don't like recommending incomplete stories). But for those just looking for something to kill time, you could do far worse than this. Just don't go expecting harem erotica on the level of 'Cheat Mode Farming in Another World' or adventuring on the level of 'Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill'.

Man in his 40s gets a power trip from basically shopping from a catalog in another world. This may be the worst isekai I've read in the recent years, It's beyond bad.

The dude doesn't even accomodate to the new world; Dresses the same way he used to in his original world, has the same shitty electric shaver shave from before, etc. Doesn't even try to learn about the world, most of the panels are filled with 90-60-90 girls that instantly like the loser MC and, worst of all, in a world filled with magic, dragons, grimoires, and the like, he uses the damn Ikea shopping ... catalog.

"Diesel generator summon" has to be the worst speech bubble I've ever read.
