This is a rare instance of a manhua drawing me in from the very first chapter.
The Reformation of the Deadbeat Noble Manhwa truly felt like a one of a kind when I discovered it during my mild pit of "I don't know what to read", and as I'm sure many avid readers are most-likely to be struck by this problem more than once, I hope my insights will help someone ease their frustration by indulging in a couple of chapters from this particular story. (smart words=better, change my mind)

The First Chapter:
The first chapter was of course what stood out the most when looking back as ... to why I actually started reading the series. In comparison to other fantasy/action manhwa, the brief bit of well written narration at the start, that told us the story of some mystical man, ubruptly changing into a setting in which we are introduced to the actual characters felt very unique to me, and the chapters just kept going after that, until there were no more.

The Story: 7.4/10
Nothing too special or too irregular from your usual everyday "MC first weak, then MC become strong" manhwas, but I must say that the MC's power is something you do not see too often in other similar works (never if were talking about my experiences); the scarcity of similar concepts in other fantasy stories and the rather natural pacing of the chapters is what makes the read feel fresh and natural. The only minor flaw is that the events happening in the first 3 chapters might feel rushed, but it's just to get the guy into an academy (where ahem.. the good stuff really starts)

Characters and Dialogue: 8.3/10
The way in which the characters are written is pretty cliche, but not always the bad type of cliche, kinda like the type that makes you smile when it's good and bearable when it's slightly bad. The development of certain key supportive characters is very well made, even going into pretty bad/low traits of these characters (this is very hard without really mentioning scenes from the story, so just trust me). The dialogue is humorous, well-written and well placed.

The Art: 6.8/10
It's nothing too fancy, but it's consistent and simple looking, you really don't need much when the story is good.

Overall Rating and TL;DR: 8.7/10 (and yes I add decimals to my scores cuz I'm quirky like that)

TL;DR:
This is definately one of, if not my favorite manhwas that i've read so far. The story is cliche, but simple and unique with above average character development. I'd say read anything from 1 to 5 chapters to see if it's for you or not.

Plus
* art is decent
* story/lore is simple and straightforward. (cliche?)
* easy to read. you can stop anywhere because the cliffhangers are weak and the arcs are generally tiny.
* rapid pace and decent execution. hype all the way!

Minus
* power levels (and kinds) are all over the place with barely any structure.
* The characters (especially villains) are too generic. I could predict their dialogues/expressions in my sleep.
* And some characters are *really* inconsistent. Its like the authors forgot their character traits?
... * MC is plain and boring and empty. I genuinely have no idea why his family even loves him.
* 80% of the series is either training or dueling. and it gets tiring after a while, especially when the mystery is kinda weak.

Overall
Just another power fantasy template with pretty art. It executes its generic ideas properly, but it also brings nothing new to the table. The usual busted MC with everyone around him going "wow.. I can't believe he grew so much stronger overnight. He must have worked real hard. so young and talented and handsome and humble etc..".

If you are not a fan of this genre, then skip this.

Having read the web novel, I started with high expectations, however despite the first few chapters hooking me, I seemed to lose interest.

The art and character are fine however the story seems a bit rushed compared to the original wn.

Story: 4/10
Story is very rushed. Most arcs tend to last less than 3 chapters, often leaving out major details.

Art: 7/10
Art is fine, Has more of a western feel to it but nothing other than that.

... Characters 5/10
Characters are rushed and don't possess any distinct traits.

Overall would recommend the light novel, however not so much this.
