This is the first time I write a review here. The reason I write this review is mainly because this manhwa has not received the recognition it deserves and I felt that people need to know how good and different this story is as compared to all the other level up type manhwa that people are consuming.

Started off as a grimdark fantasy with light game elements, with a unique artstyle but it became a lot more generic in both story and art as time passed. i hear the webnovel this is based off of has ended pretty unsatisfactorily at 800 chapters. there probably simply was too much buildup and branches and not enough solid structure/fleshing out of the story so it just collapsed, but i still really like a lot of the concepts and story arcs especially in the first season or two. the bloodhound-like leandro, the way years of progress can be annihilated at each death, the cults and the

Art might not be the greatest but it doesn't disappoint when needed. Overall a unique really complex and well written story, that'll make you wonder what decisions may be made after any regression, or if certain characters could be saved in the future.
Good characters, interactions, and development. It's enjoyable, not that great, or ground breaking but still accomplishes it's goals. Start may be a bit slow, but seeing this character evolve and become stronger with the new knowledge he (And the reader) gains feels really good. You should really give it a try, you may actually end up liking it and binging 140 chapters at once ...

Volturifox's Review (Without Spoilers) - Until Ch.290 Story - 10/10 > You see many regression Manwhas these days, but this one... This one's unique in its own way. The Squeleton tries hard to save everyone it loves/likes, facing many hardships on the way and dealing with death and frustration. Seeing him progressing and trying hard make me like this manhwa more and more. Art - 9/10 > Not the best i've seen but definitely good and funny when needed. Main Characters - 10/10 ...

Can't... stop... reading. The Skeleton Soldier Failed to Defend the Dungeon.
It's getting in my way, I can't focus on work and the obligations I have. I read non-stop whenever possible, chapter after chapter. Last night I couldn't sleep deeply because my brain was completely permeated by the story. Last night, and the night after, my dreams and the stories were mixed together. You may not like "The Skeleton Soldier Failed to Defend the Dungeon." But I can at least hope that you find a story that makes you feel that way. It follows a web-novel structure so it´s pretty much vertical flow of view.

Pertama kalinya gua baca manhwa ini, untuk chapter awal-awal manhwanya terkesan seru dari segi premis dan plotnya, dari sepanjang gua baca manhwa gua kasih nilai 10/10 buat premis awal dari ceritanya, tapi...
Semakin lama, plotnya makin gajelas.. mulai dari chapter 100-an diulang-ulang terus tanpa ada tujuan yang jelas, udah story buildingnya lama, emang pendalaman tiap-tiap karakter gua akuin bagus, tapi esensinya ga ada, kaya backstory karakternya aja bagus, tapi fungsinya gatau mau dibawa kemana, gua udah paksain baca sampe chapter 250-an, tapi... Gua udah gakuat lagi, dropped.. JUJUR INI MANHWA EMANG PREMIS CERITA PALING BAGUS, TAPI DARI SEGI PLOT DAN ALUR GAJELAS MAU DIBAWA KEMANA JADI PENILAIAN GUA ... |
