This is my first review, I had to make one.
I'm very used to post apocalyptic worlds and stories, so I'm also very used to the feelings that this genre transmits. That said, this manga hits deep, deepest than any other one that I have ever read and watched.
Clearly has a narrative like Mushishi, in which you and the main character experience the world and the story together through the characters you both meet, the storytelling doesn't have any big mysteries and it doesn't hold back to tell you what happened, be that through dialogue exposition or world building and enviroment, but it doesn't stop being

I've always been a sucker for post-apocalyptic work, etiher be movies, games, manga and everything all around, so when i heard of a new manga with that setting i was intrigued, i dind't though that just after 11 chapters i would be obliged to write a review yet here we are.

This manga is a masterpiece. I've never felt so immesered inside of a manga before, the art stlye and worldbuilding is amazing, I really couldnt reccommend this manga enough. I'm fairly new to manga reading but this is definitely my favourite manga so far. There's currently 23 chapters as im writing this but i will let this manga marinate for a bit so i can binge read a bunch of chapters. I would be suprsied if there wasn't an anime adaption for this in the future.

If you love the cyberpunk genre and post-apocalyptic stories and, most importantly, like BLAME! (tsutomu nihei)
This manga is a GREAT OPTION! The scenarios are very well drawn and the character is very friendly. There is a melancholic, contemplative and MYSTERIOUS atmosphere about this desolate world that the character walks through in search of completing her mission. It is possible to feel this through the scenario and the story that follows, having moments of reflection about human life (or what it once was) and even getting emotional with some situations that the character encounters along the way. I really loved the experience and I await new chapters! |
