A great fight that's part of a great story, recreated by Boichi. I generally love Boichi's style and I've greatly enjoyed his previous One Piece works, but man I wish he would learn to draw a woman.

Boichi's art is technically brilliant, and especially when he's drawing men it looks phenomenal. But I really cannot get over how derpy his female faces tend to look. On top of that, he's changed around some of the paneling and camera angles in this fight to be *way* more horny, making it look like Kalifa and Nami are getting each other off moreso than fighting in a few places. ... I wouldn't be entirely comfortable reading this in public, which is something I've never said about One Piece itself.

As for everything besides the art, it's the same as it was in the source material which is great. I haven't factored this into my score much since the point of this manga is the new art.

Another One Piece chapter remake, another chance for Boichi to flex his art skills and his ability to make most female characters super horny looking.

When I saw the poster for this chapter, I think we all knew what Boichi was about to unleash onto all of us. And boy did he deliver. The artwork looks great, though maybe it's just me, but the action scenes looked a little bit blurry due to the number of movement lines that Boichi put in the panels. It's definitely not his most standout work ... so far, but where he excels is his detail scenes of Nami and Kalifa and their curves. Kalifa is 100 times more sexy than in the original manga. Boichi got us acting up fr.

The chapter skipped out a bit of the original chapter/s to focus primarily on the fighting, so info about Kalifa's Devil Fruit and other bits of dialogue got cut out, though I don't think it's all important for this remake.

Overall, I thought this chapter was good, though the only standout parts were really how sexy Nami and Kalifa looked.

7/10 adaptation

This is possibly the worst thing to ever exist.

The art is so terrible it's insane. The only reaosn this exists is for some horny boys to get off to but i can't even imagine anyone getting off to this because it looks so awful. The proportions are terrible, the faces dont look right, there's nothing here worth anyone's time.

This one-shot just dumbs down everything about the fight and nami and kalifa's character to "yummy boobs sexy".

There is no reason for this to actually exist, just read the one piece manga instead of this annoying porn made for 14 year old boys that heven't seen a ... woman before.

Has Boichi... seen a woman before?

I actually enjoy most of Boichi's fight scenes. This is because Boichi usually sticks in his lane and has men fighting because men are what he's good at drawing. Boichi really falls off when he does anything with women; they weren't well written or well drawn in Sun-Ken Rock, and they sure as hell aren't here either.

Boichi is seemingly completely perplexed by the female form and is physically capable of not drawing the most horny shit he can think of. Obviously, the actual one piece isn't free from this either because Oda was the one who chose the outfits ... and the one who can't seem to stop himself from increasing the size of Nami's tits, but you know, anyone can wear whatever they want, and maybe Nami's boobs are just growing naturally?? Boichi though, is physically incapable of not doing a close up of their boobs or asses for a single second, and for some reason, Kalifa's clothes seem to be a lot tighter than the real fight. I wonder why. Also, Boichi draws women's eyes weird.

The actual fight is pretty decent; I'd even say better than the one piece fight because it actually feels like a fight, not a conversation broken up by yelling weird move names. If only Boichi focused more on that, then fitting in one more Kalifa panty shot. This is made exclusivly for horny teenagers and even then why would you read this when there is no actual nudity?
