"The rhymes will heal because I believe in music"
This review covers the entirety of Luv(sic) Parts 1-6. I’d have separated them individually, but since Part 2 is the only one with a video, it’s the only entry that qualifies for this site. Incidentally, Luv(sic) Part 2 is my least favorite of the series, though with a 9.5 rounding up to a 10, here we are. That's just how good this album is.
The Luv(sic) hexalogy is one of my top 10 albums of all time, but I don't get to rave about it enough so I have to do so on an anime site. Every
...
track on this project is stunningly beautiful a blend of jazz instrumentals and great vocals by the sadly still underground rapper, Shing02 (though to be fair he's never done anything that quite reaches the heights he did with Nujabes), paired with producer Nujabes, who was at the peak of his game during this albums creation. This album has an incredible vibe, one I’ve rarely encountered in hip-hop or music in general, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy, makes me want to kick my feat in the air and shit.
Nujabes' lush, soulful, and jazzy soundscapes transport me to an ethereal realm, and the flow between songs is unmatched, they all interconnect seamlessly. This is hip-hop that no one could possibly hate. Anyone who disagrees might just be a skinwalker, though I suspect even a skinwalker would find it hard not to be enchanted by these evocative lyrics, which dance on the precipice of cliche but never fall.
RIP Nunjabes.

its pretty well mixed and the production left me quite impressed. too bad apart from that this song is the musical equivalent of silly string and its so all over the place its like ive been stuck in a jar and shook around. hopefully mori figures out how to progress a song by the time her album comes out (not to say a beat switch makes a song all over the place its just done poorly here). it also sounds like she just fucks up and goes off key at some points but that might be on purpose, didnt sound good to me though. overall
...
a very mediocre song i wont be returning to.

Has Boichi... seen a woman before?
I actually enjoy most of Boichi's fight scenes. This is because Boichi usually sticks in his lane and has men fighting because men are what he's good at drawing. Boichi really falls off when he does anything with women; they weren't well written or well drawn in Sun-Ken Rock, and they sure as hell aren't here either.
Boichi is seemingly completely perplexed by the female form and is physically capable of not drawing the most horny shit he can think of. Obviously, the actual one piece isn't free from this either because Oda was the one who chose the outfits
...
and the one who can't seem to stop himself from increasing the size of Nami's tits, but you know, anyone can wear whatever they want, and maybe Nami's boobs are just growing naturally?? Boichi though, is physically incapable of not doing a close up of their boobs or asses for a single second, and for some reason, Kalifa's clothes seem to be a lot tighter than the real fight. I wonder why. Also, Boichi draws women's eyes weird.
The actual fight is pretty decent; I'd even say better than the one piece fight because it actually feels like a fight, not a conversation broken up by yelling weird move names. If only Boichi focused more on that, then fitting in one more Kalifa panty shot. This is made exclusivly for horny teenagers and even then why would you read this when there is no actual nudity?

Even in terms of manhwa, the shitty inbred cousin of manga, this is unreadable trash unless you're the kind of person who wears fingerless gloves because you think they make you look cool.
Getting started with my only non-negative aspect being that the art looks all right; it's not good, but it's pretty decent for manhwa standards. Sadly for any people who just like looking at pictures, I hear that the art gets worse after the break between seasons one and two, though I wouldn't know because even 20 chapters was too much for me to stomach.
The backstory is decently interesting. The front story, on the
...
other hand, is extremely generic. The guy is OP because the author wants the 12 year olds to be able to use him as a self insert to pretend they aren't losers. The author tries to get you invested in the main character so he can do his edgy bullshit, but the bullying is comical more than anything. I've both never been bullied and don't live in Korea, so for all I know it could be a shithole but I have eyes and have seen bullying, both physical and mental, and unless the people bullying you are fucking stupid, they aren't going to do it the way the main character is shown being bullied here.
The dialogue is just bad, the characters are shallow, and the protagonist is too busy being covered in blood and making his eyes red and shit for me to be able to care about him. I highly doubt the author did any work on the dialogue and I don't blame him because the audience he is trying to get by writing this probably doesn't care about it nor has the reading comprehension above a third grade level to even tell the difference between this and well written dialogue. I could probably say the same thing about the actual story too.
Only read this if you are really starved for content, but if you're in that situation just go outside instead.
