Synopsis

Osamu is a young man who died at a young age due to an incurable illness. His second life was to drift as a spirit (demon) in an unknown world! Osamu, who is hated by humans and unreasonably deprived of his "life," does not want to die anymore. At that time, he gained the power of "life-sucking" that feeds on the vitality of others. In addition, he will resist the approaching death by using the science that he learned in his previous life and the creation magic that makes the best use of his own dexterity.

One day, he met an immortal girl was also in despair.

"—You tried to kill me. You guys are bad." In order to live, the pair leans into the evil side.

An anti-heroic fantasy where a ghost who wants to live and a girl who can't die conflict with the world!

Here’s some backstory before you read this review: I had previously reviewed this, and gave it a score of a 7.3, however, after rereading this manga, instead of catching up on the hundreds of chapters that I’m behind on, it made me want to punch my former self for doing this manga such a disservice. Blame it on me reading this manga at 2 a.m. but this manga excels at every single department for an “evil” main character fantasy manga, which is so rare to come across. Time for the actual review:

Spoiler
I decided to pick up this manga because it falls into the 'isekai' genre, which is one of my favorites. The premise initially follows the familiar trope where the main character gets reincarnated into another world and becomes powerful enough but not yet overpowered. However, what really sets this story apart is the way the protagonist evolves. Instead of being the typical righteous hero, the MC starts off with more of an anti-hero vibe. As the plot progresses, you can see how external factors, betrayals, and the harsh realities of the new world push him further into a morally gray area, eventually turning him into ...
