Art is to create meaning and emotion, to impose questions, and to provide answers. How can art flourish when it's only ever expected to meet the status quo, and never allowed to ask new questions, provide different answers, or impose unique meaning and emotions? This is the question that PPPPPP, or P6, both asks and seeks to answer, though, in the end, it sadly fell victim to the expectations it tried to surpass.
I'd say overall that P6 is a good manga. It's by no means a masterpiece, but it was unique. Being part of Shonen Jump, a magazine that's constantly overflowing with battle manga, aiming

I know the title is weird, but this is probably one of the best new, non-mainstream manga out right now. besides, its always the anime/manga with the weird titles that end up being surprisingly good (considering banana fish and I want to eat your pancreas).
*this review will be spoiler free, with only mentioning of what is already written in the mal synopsis Story: 7/10 At first, the story might seem somewhat cliche or over-used, but the way it unfolds soon after is what makes it amazing. Instruments and music seems like something that would not work out too well in manga format which does not have ... Sep 17, 2021
English is not my native language so I'm sorry if I write something you can't understand but I'll try my best :)
I think it's obvious but: spoiler of only the first chapter well I can't say much with the first chapter but here are my first impressions Story: 8 I honestly think that the story is quite original and I was really looking forward to the next chapter Well, the story tells us how a boy named Lucky is one of the seven twin brothers, sons of a prodigious pianist, Lucky despite the fact that he loves the piano, he is the only one of the seven ... The ending was very disappointing, I was expecting more depth to the story and it kind of just leaves you on a cliff hanger. I enjoyed the first half of the story very much, the characters were interesting and just like any other story it had a basic plot but it was progressive. Now once we get to the like competition ark I think that’s where it starts to go down hill, the “battles” or competition get drawn out which you know is fine sometimes since it can add more to the story but after a while it started to feel like I was reading

This is a great manga for music nerds, especially those into classical, as the author uses the narrative to focus on the surreal nature music can possess and a musician's relationship to their craft. The brunt of the story is pretty much every character overcoming some sort of mental hurdle through musical exploration and these tales are executed fairly well. This is thanks to some great art that brings out the very best of the story's emotional moments. The characters aren't super deep, and can be quite cartoony, but honestly I think this makes PPPPPP a more comfy and pleasant experience despite going to some

Honestly, I wasn't expecting to like this manga as much as I currently do. I literally only picked up this series because it lacked a MAL Rewrite synopsis and I could write one for it, but here I am still reading it a year later.
PPPPPP is written in a pseudo-sports manga style in terms of story progression and how the mangaka portrays the piano competitions throughout the series. Reading these competitions gives me the same feeling as when I read a match arc in another sports manga because they're paced in a similar way. There's a strange "hype" element that's present in each "battle". The ... Jul 4, 2022
6P is a fairly enjoyable read even if you don't have any interest in the piano.
For a comic series about music, it uses the medium surprisingly well, providing visual interpretations for the music that's being played. Plot is straightforward but I'm thankful for that. With the art style and cryptic way a lot of these characters speak I wouldn't be able to understand anything otherwise. Sounds like I dislike the art style but actually the art is the best aspect of this series for me. It's hard to get used to but once you do, I'm sure you'll enjoy it too. Characters are the most ... I randomly found interest in this manga because of the name and synopsis but I honestly adore it, something about it is just really lovable and I do wonder why it’s rated so low because I’ve been adoring every second of it! Definitely check it out if you are interested in unique and beautiful art as well as a story that draws you in and leaves you wanting more. The way it turns mediocrity into a weapon and inspires is incredible.
The characters personalities and designs are unique and well made which just makes it even more interesting. It can be a little predictable but ... |
