I don’t recommend this to anyone who’s sane and is actually a person….
SPOILERS Ch.2
...
Oh Hell no this is horrible, man talk about toxic, a literal rapist, and even blaming him for being too seductive, basically like it’s his fault for being a certain way and he can’t help but raping him, another “your mouth might be saying no but your body’s responding yes”, no there’s got to be consent. He then wants to try and degrade Asahi whole being, practically calling him a whore, and then you the Uke blaming himself at times. anyways the only way I would gives this a good rating is if this was actually a story about a rape victim enventually living a better life with someone else or realizing he doesn’t need the Alpha because he’s a horrible person. But that’s Yaoi for you, the usual sexualization of rape in MLM

The ending was very disappointing, I was expecting more depth to the story and it kind of just leaves you on a cliff hanger. I enjoyed the first half of the story very much, the characters were interesting and just like any other story it had a basic plot but it was progressive. Now once we get to the like competition ark I think that’s where it starts to go down hill, the “battles” or competition get drawn out which you know is fine sometimes since it can add more to the story but after a while it started to feel like I was reading
...
the same thing over and over again because of the cycle it had with dealing with conflicts.
Anyways I’m trying not to put any spoilers since I finished reading it but the reason why I say the ending was cliffhanger, it was like the exact climax of the story. Now that would have been fine but it was like 69 chapters of build up just to leave you dissatisfied on 70, the ending just leaves you having more questions. But still I would usually be ok with stories like this but the ending came from the left field, it was so rushed.

As someone who didn't read the manga If I just go based off from the uniqueness of the first season then to this season it isn't good, all the people saying it deserves at least a 7 are lying to themselves.
Characters- What even happened? Ray became a cushion to progress the story, he has no personality and is just there to question Emma for her next move to get the story proggresing. I don't remember Emma being annoying but they sure did change my opinion of her, Emma gets her way no matter what, she kinda turned into a magical
...
girl with this really basic thinking of (this is bad and this is good). Norman is kinda the antagonist which is quickly solved thanks to our hero Emma, who tells him to get over it and poof he quickly agrees with their views. Also am I the only one who was waiting for something like betrayal or animosity just anything from Sonju since he blurted out that he could'nt wait to eat humans but ends up doing nothing but following them, theres no viewpoint from him changing his mind. I was waiting for something to come but nothing ended up happening, I was left dissapointed.
Story- (I can't even believe the writers), Norman you can't go and set the village in a blaze, Lambda escapees I know you were experimented on and tortered by these monsters but wait, all of sudden they all have a change of heart, to not hate them like I could understand Barbara not wanting to kill the kid(although she was literally eating their limbs as a way to be spiteful but ok ) but the others were so quick to agree that it was weird. Thanks Emma, she solved this problem so quickly you would think it was the easiest thing, just don't hate each other simple, I have blood now, you dont need humans, simple (mind blowing). Just like Norman says that the demons eat humans just as humans eat their favorite food because they want to but yeah problem solved(eventhough they don't need to eat it anymore they might just want to) . oh wait they have to head back to Grace Field to save the kids, Norman and the Lambda escapees are gonna die since there's no cure, we need to get to the human world, oh wait we have this grandpa who just so happens (poof) to have the solution to everthing in his hand (very anticlimactic). Then there's probably the worst part, the kids have tricked everyone with the decoys, oh man the (mamas) double cross white hair R(I cant remember his name) but wait he's already called reinforcements (when, who knows but there's tons), well that can easily be sloved because the village demons have come to the rescue, to save the people who were trying to kill them (well I guess maybe their trying to pay back their savoir Mujika but still why would they be helping out humans). Welp the kids have the upperhand, go ahead Emma speak to him, well that didn't end up as they hope but who cares happy ending.
I don't know but the story felt like it was dumbed-down, the great thing about Emma from the first season was that eventhough her beliefs were impossible to accomplish she was hopeful that it would eventually be achieved and stuck with it but this season she's handed the solutions, also she doesn't really care that she endangering everyone else because of her selfish beliefs since she's right.

The pacings really bad, it's really cringy, and the rape was unforgivable, I don't know but Takatora is seriously a rapist and gives off weird vibes like he shoud be put behind bars. He's been creepy since the beginning, even trying to coerce Chihiro to have sex with him at the start, being way too persistent. Also this was way to forced, this is why yaoi gets a really bad reputation, "straight women fethizing men" to fit their fantasies. It's too unrealistic, relationship wise it feels like the authors never seen real people interact or dated anyone because the character interactions were so stiff, unnatural
...
and random. I'll just say this, it felt like I was reading a wattpad writen by a 12 year old. There's nothing redeeming about this besides the art....

It's one of those, ugh "your mouth may say no but your body's saying yes"
This contains rape, forced, and, sexual harrasment...
The seme's a total creep and stalker, there's nothing redeeming about this manga and if there was a way to make a better ending for this, it would be by sending the seme to jail. The uke may have been snarky and stuck up but he didn't deserve to be forced into sex, the whole time it was honestly really uncomfortable to read because the seme's very manipulative so he'll say anything to get wat he wants, fake cry, fake an emergency...

Not Necessarily a Spoiler but read at your own risk
...
It was ok, the couples relationship needed more development because it went from sexual to 3 chapters finding out about his past and fixing the issue then to them being a couple. We didn't really get to see a romantic connection form naturally, it felt really abrupt. Like they were friends rather than lovers, I'm curious how did Tomohiro fall in love with him so quickly because of their sexual compatibility or he liked him before then, but they really didn't say much on how they came to like each other so yeah...it's meh😔

Not that the story isn't good, it's just that I hate these type of characters with jerk personalities and just plain uncaring but since this is only the first few episodes, hopefully they have some sort of redeeming quality later on.
Usually I wouldn't write a review until I finish the series or just simply giving my opinion, but it's giving me bungou stray dogs vibe which I didn't really enjoy because of their personalities and just the comedic duo of a annoying air head/ jerk and slightly self aware character but at times will still treat others like crap. /:

my opinion but you never know this could be a really good, I usually enjoy vampire animes so i'm hoping for it to get better since there isn't really that many decent one's in this genre.

Honestly this would probably be a 7 at most but I enjoyed it a lot, Rengoku is the only character i've even liked so far through Kimetsu no Yaiba so automatic 10.<3
...
I will say the cgi was kind of well out there, it wasn't necessarily bad but just there for 30 minutes of the movie randomly and in fight scenes. Also I don't think this really needed to be a movie it could of been a 12 episode season but you know it's probably because it was a short arc and $$$.

To sum up what I thought about the story, it was interesting in the beginning, it wasn't exactly a new concept, boy gets bullied by psychopaths and plans to get revenge. It's not horror but there was a lot of torturing and gore, which I was fine with and I really liked the art too. But then this is where it goes down hill, for some reason the author decides to insert some slice of life bullshit in the most UNCONVENTIONAL and most AWKWARD way where it's just unnatural to the story. Which completely messes with the stories flow. Also I'm going to mention this
...
but the way the author does the transitions for the story isn't really great it's literally one point to the the next which would be fine if there was at least a little subtlety but it literally goes from just tortured a guy and cuts instantly to three days later at school, basically a slideshow with bullet points".
(Spoilers)
(My thoughts while reading ch.18 and further)
Crazy psychopath takes his obsession of love way to far and locks his girlfriend up as a (as the author puts it) "meat toy", keeping her keeped in his place for years. Uruma frees the girlfriend and ties up the psychopath, bringing in a torture device...
"Woah that was pretty brutal, butthole just got ripped apart..
"Oh god his dick too, welp.
After that, the girlfriend goes on to kill herself which is understandable after being treated worse than a dog, being locked up for so long by the she loved, not being able to see the light of day, she broke.
"Oh there a small backstory too (very small) of his point of view"
That's 2 down
You're probably expecting for the story to take a more serious tone right?
like Uruma going to prepare more and get more focused on the his targets since they probably noticed somethings wrong?
Well guess what this story never does that
Well no, after he just tortured someone, the authors like "you know what we need in this story, something that people can relate to and enjoy (some fanservice)". The same fucking clique thats used in so many anime's and mangas, some big titty chick comes in, falls on to the mc and he grabs their boobs, like this is supposed to be normal for a kid who's trying to murder the people who killed his parents and almost killed his brother, after just draining a body in the forest, the scene was so forced that it was so uncomfortable and (can't believe i'm going to say this but) CRINGE.

The season about to be complete and can't even say I enjoyed watching these 50 episode.
(48 currently)
I rated this a 5.
(spoiler ahead)
First of all I didn't really have a problem with the plot or the fact that the team lost every match they ever played. Also people have mentioned that this anime supposed to be realistic but if we're being realistic the team would probably be depressed, losing every match, struggling with life, Death of a close one(Sora), also losing their advisor, club room and more thanks to their leader just saying.
...
Pacing(-666666666666666666666669)
One issue for me was the freaking PACING. its so slow!!, it took a whole 50 episodes just for 4 matches. basically 10 episodes for a match. Many unnecessary episodes(ex. ep 38, a whole episode wasted on looking for Madoka's lost earring)
Characters-4
Then there's the characters, most of them are annoying, i'm still wondering why Madoka is even a (MAIN) character . Like how? Seriously I thought this was a sport anime surrounded around the development of the team, Nanao's not even a main character. I'm not going to rant on about Madoka, just know her entire existence in this show pisses me off.
Animation-3
Honestly the animation wasn't that great, a lot of still frames for matches but I still felt the hype so it wasn't that bad. I get that this anime focused on the character development and all but it's still a sport anime there should be some animation.
Art-6
Now I haven't read the manga but I checked out the first chapter to compare the art in the anime to the manga, I guess it simalar but I have no idea what the animators where doing.
I don't reccomend this to anyone who likes KNB
