I think it's obvious but: spoiler of only the first chapter

well I can't say much with the first chapter but here are my first impressions

Story: 8 I honestly think that the story is quite original and I was really looking forward to the next chapter

Well, the story tells us how a boy named Lucky is one of the seven twin brothers, sons of a prodigious pianist, Lucky despite the fact that he loves the piano, he is the only one of the seven ... brothers who has no talent for the piano that causes that the family separates,
The other six brothers left with their father but Lucky stayed with his mother until she became ill and had to hospitalize her, then he went to live with his aunt, one of the days that he went to visit the hospital, his mother recommended that he go to a music school to learn to play the piano, Lucky since he loves the piano he follows the recommendation of his mother and is going to do the test to enter the music school and gets in

this section is something more personal, many people may like it and others may even hate it, but in my personal opinion the drawing is too beautiful, I loved the drawing style of the characters and the contrast with the detailed backgrounds.

Characters: 8 In this section I can't say much with only the first chapter but the two most important characters so far have been Lucky and Lucky's mom.

Lucky: he is the main character and honestly I think he is a very good character so far I like his background with the rest of his brothers I also like the fact that although he is not good at playing the piano he still loves it and that it is something that motivates him.

Lucky's mom:
lucky's mom is one of the most loving mothers I've ever seen, the fact that she prefers her son over her husband shows the affection she has for her son and I think it's quite nice how even being in the hospital helps lucky to motivate him to keep playing the piano.

Enjoyment: 10 I literally loved the first chapter

the truth is that this chapter seemed very funny to me it was not tedious or slow at any time also loved the way you have to tell the story, it is definitely one of the series that I have come to like more with only one chapter

overall: 9

in my opinion this series showed a lot of its potential in its first chapter, I hope it can continue to be published without being cancelled until its end.

I know the title is weird, but this is probably one of the best new, non-mainstream manga out right now. besides, its always the anime/manga with the weird titles that end up being surprisingly good (considering banana fish and I want to eat your pancreas).

*this review will be spoiler free, with only mentioning of what is already written in the mal synopsis

Story: 7/10
At first, the story might seem somewhat cliche or over-used, but the way it unfolds soon after is what makes it amazing. Instruments and music seems like something that would not work out too well in manga format which does not have ... soundtracks or songs like anime do, but the way each piano piece is presented in the panels is wonderful and breath-taking.

Art: 8/10
The art style is unique and easily recognizable compared to other shonen manga, which I enjoy, considering how most manga art styles nowaday all look somewhat the same.

Characters: 9/10
Despite the designs looking eccentric or basic, with funny hairstyles and bright colors, the way they are written are all good. Each character have their own motives, personalities, and are not just summed up to stereotypes or simple definitions of some "cool edgy rival who has a superiority complex" or "villain doing bad things for the sake of being bad".

Enjoyment: 8/10
Being someone who loves original, non-mainstream plots and ideas, I loved PPPPPP. I had doubts and worries at the beginning when I first started, but most of them are gone now. Waiting for new chapters every week is a pain, but it is worth the wait.

Overall: 8/10
With the quality in the current chapters and being past the 50 chapter mark, I doubt it would be cancelled so please give this manga a go :)

Art is to create meaning and emotion, to impose questions, and to provide answers. How can art flourish when it's only ever expected to meet the status quo, and never allowed to ask new questions, provide different answers, or impose unique meaning and emotions? This is the question that PPPPPP, or P6, both asks and seeks to answer, though, in the end, it sadly fell victim to the expectations it tried to surpass.

I'd say overall that P6 is a good manga. It's by no means a masterpiece, but it was unique. Being part of Shonen Jump, a magazine that's constantly overflowing with battle manga, aiming ... to be the next big hit with their large sprawling fights and set pieces, P6 stood out by focusing its grandiosity onto the piano and the worlds created from its sound. While in contrast to its simplicity, the art runs strong with a sense of distortion in both the way the characters are drawn and how the "miracles" performed throughout the story are depicted. Each character is given a selfish sense of purpose, with each of their journeys setting them out on the path to self-discovery in a world that wants conformity and structure.

While P6's themes of individuality are presented strongly in its core message and art, they are never fully realized. While some part of this is due to the fact that P6 was unfortunately canceled rather abruptly, it still fails to fully deliver its themes through the needlessly convoluted dialogue which is ultimately the main downfall of P6. Characters spend a lot of time either being extremely vague or going into far too much detail to explain things which causes a lot of confusion, something I felt often during my time with this manga. The emotions and dilemmas that characters experience just are not explained in a manner that was easily digestible, and it really brought down my experience at times, as I was constantly having to divert my focus from the narrative to try and find an answer to the constant barrage of questions, leaving me far too overwhelmed to try and immerse myself in the story.

Moving on from the overly confusing dialogue, I think now it's important to talk about the ending of P6, or rather the cause of the ending, and the main reason why I think some people won't be satisfied with this manga. P6 as I briefly mentioned earlier, was abruptly canceled leaving many plot lines unresolved. This manga continues to build on its stories and characters until it doesn't. No satisfying resolution for our protagonist, and unfulfilled wishes for all of the people we met along the way. All we get is a fade to black. When I called this manga a victim of expectations, I meant it in the sense of its cancelation. P6 starts and ends being itself. It doesn't try to blend in with its peers, but it's because P6 had this individuality that its fate was sealed. Its ratings and sales were not enough for the staff at Shonen Jump to justify keeping such a non-standard manga around any longer. Even if the end was close, and even if there are no plans to replace it soon. Unfortunately, it just wasn't enough.

Despite the sudden ending and the issues with its dialogue, the manga kept me captivated and I'm glad it was able to last as long as it did. If you enjoy the piano and classical music, or if you don't mind an abrupt and unsatisfying ending, then I'd say give PPPPPP a read. Otherwise, it'd be best to skip this one.
