if you like io sakisaka's works such as blue spring ride or especially strobe edge you'll like this one as well! saku who falls for a stranger that helps her out decides to give this stranger a letter to thank him when she sees him again. when she enters highschool she meets his brother who helps her out and his kindness begins to enter her heart. the concept of helping people is in the center this time which is something else.

Unnecessary drama ruins the mid-end.
It's a Shoujo that starts with all the good points: right amount of shyness from the FL, the ML is lovely and Very honest, the initial dramatic moments are solved in a good manner and are the cliches we already know so there's not much stress on waiting for things to turn out okay. It has everything to be a solid 8, but it sadly gets into SUPER unnecessary and extremely unnerving drama at the highest point of the story. As someone who really enjoyed Ao Haru Ride and Strobe Edge, I was so excited for another shoujo by Io Sakisaka. This manga definitely met expectations, with the usual fluffy, sparkly vibe and adorable romance. Sakisaka is truly talented at writing stories that appreciate even the smallest moments in life, and I think that is what draws me to her works.
For the characters, I loved the earnest FL and the kind ML. I even liked the way the side characters are written. All of the characters feel very genuine, even if we don't get much more depth to their personalities. There are some very cute ... |
