Colette Decides to Die is a very cute manga series with a slightly misleading title. The title may make you think this story could be on the darker side, but in reality it is incredibly cute, wholesome, and rather calm in terms of plot. It almost feels like a sweet slice of life, following the daily adventures of the young heroine and many other characters.

There is plenty to like about this lovely adult romance with a cute tea theme! It starts with a bit of a contract relationship trope, as the two main characters each find a benefit in sticking together. However, the difference in their attitudes often puts them at odds with one other! Readers who enjoy slow burn romances and mangas that explore other subtopics (in this case, tea) may really enjoy Matcha Made in Heaven.

As someone who really enjoyed Ao Haru Ride and Strobe Edge, I was so excited for another shoujo by Io Sakisaka. This manga definitely met expectations, with the usual fluffy, sparkly vibe and adorable romance.
