One of the best Isekai's I have read. It got an actual plot than the generics of the genre.

Story: Mc discovers himself in one RPG game he played before, but in the body of one of the most hated side villains in the game - Herold Stokes, born in a notorious noble family. As ex player of the game, he knows everything that should happen. He must play his villain role, and very carefully to not alter anything that was about to occur according to game story or else, it might lead to the very destruction of the world.

He plays the henious villain act ... in the front, but being a kind person inside, he can not help saving others who were fated to meet a tragic end according to game's story (death flags), but these alterations lead to complications one after another, he must overcome everything to barely keep things going out of control. And he is not overpowered beyound logic or, with some exceptional skill like generic isekai's. Knowing his fate, what was about to come, he has to make himself stronger and do anything to ensure the original story development.

Although Herold must act cruelly towards everyone his secret kind dids get known by many which lead to unwanted developments throughout the manga, many developments Harold himself not aware of. One of which is the slow one sided secret romantic build up when the opposite was to happen. This is in fact one of the main attraction of the manga that will keep you going.

And It is one of the isekai's you get to see characters grow over time, child to adolescent...

It is one of the very few consistant manga/manhwa that made me dive into Light Novel after reaching the manga's end. I recommend everyone as it is very one of the few underrated gems imo.

This manga is something new in isekai. If you want to try something different in isekai genre this one is for you.
Main character is somewhat like hikigaya hachiman from oregairu with his idea of self sacrifice. MC does many things just to be alive till the end of the story but side character misunderstood him as someone who does help others with the idea of self sacrifice. It has a bit of comedy and not many fight scenes. There is not much in romance. But it does not have harem like other isekai.
It somewhat reminds me of manhwa where mc reborn in fantasy world where ... he now what will happen in the future.
MC always make a logical decision and always try to do something by taking every problem on himself.
If you like mc who works alone you will like it.

"Ore no Shibou Flag ga Todomaru Tokoro o Shiranai" or "My Death Flags Show No Sign Of Ending" revolves around a simple question: what if you know the future, know that you and your friends will die in a few years, but you can't tell anyone?

This is exactly the situation Harold Stokes finds himself in. Reborn as the antagonist of his favourite game, he's forced to become an arsehole for various reasons - at least on the outside, because when it looks like he's murdering his vassals for no reason or betraying his nation, he's just playing the character from the game, when in reality ... he was saving his vassal from his tyrannical parents or preventing a war against the nation he was supposedly spying for.

The manga has these two things and some nice, colourful pages. Apart from that, there's nothing in its favour.
Now please don't get me wrong, the manga is not BAD. I didn't dislike any of the characters, the plot was ok to mildly entertaining, etc., but the characters weren't good either. I didn't root for them, didn't mourn for them, wasn't sad when the protagonist was portrayed as a murderer.

So the manga is OK, but nothing more. Maybe it will improve, as many key characters (such as the protagonist of the actual game) barely appeared, but after almost 70 chapters I would expect more than "it's ok".
