I wanted to leave this review because there's something important you should know before reading, which will give you a new appreciation for it (and hopefully bring the score up)!
This manga currently has a poor average score, and it seems like it might be due to the art style. But there's a catch to this that you may not be aware of; it turns out it's much more unique than it first appears. This manga employs a technique called 'rotoscoping', and you might be familiar with it if you've seen the "Aku no Hana" anime adaptation. Rotoscoping is when you take a picture or

film of something in real life, and then trace over it to give it the appearance of animation
That's right - every chapter of this manga has actual photographs of real people, which are then drawn over to give it the appearance of a manga. Not only that, but many of the backgrounds were shot on location in Japan and embellished with fantasy elements. Once you know that, reading this manga becomes a refreshing and special experience. Not only did the mangaka do an incredible job blending literal reality with fantasy, but her ability to storyboard human actors is so good that it really looks like they were hand drawn! How cool is that?
I gave this a 9 because it's a one-of-a-kind read that everyone should experience, and the story is cute to boot
