If someone told me that Majo Taisen was a spinoff of Record of Ragnarok, I would definately believe them. The series basically goes out of its way to demonstrate how much RoR inspires it. Both are even serialized in the same magazine. Tournament of historical figues fighting to the death and strong backstories that tie into the philosophical theme of a fight. Also plenty of great character designs and powers that draw from the real life history of a character. While RoR is comprised of male figures from myths and history, Majo Taisen has a female cast. What makes Majo Taisen stand out from being a clone is that it has a clear protagonist and a visible overarching plot which contributes to a thematic narrative on greed, desire, and purpose. read more 

Epic fights featuring popular historical figures 

Shuumatsu no walkure and Majo Taisen are really similar, Shuumatsu no walkure is about god against human, Ragnarok. IN Majo Taisen there are no god, but magic still exist like in shuumatsu no walkure, Majo Taisen is about 32 humans that died, they are what we call witch in this manga. The 32 with will then fight against each other and the winner will be given a second chance. The difference between shuumatsu no walkure and majo taisen is that 1. Shuumatsu no walkure is about god vs human while majo taisen is about human vs human(witch vs witch) 2. All the contestants in shuumatsu no walkure are males while in majo taisen, they are all women 3. Matches/rounds in majo taisen ends a lot quicker than shuumatsu no walkure, a round would took around 3-5 chapters. Shuumatsu no walkure would took 2-3 volumes 4. The artstyle are both really good but shuumatsu no walkure has a more strong and seinen artstyle while majo taisen has a more elegant 5. If you like Shuumatsu no Valkyrie then you would love to read this manga called Majo Taisen. It's about a war of the 32 greedy witches, put them in an arena and fought bloodlusted until death. The participants of the arena are based by some women figures in history like Jeanne D'Arc, Elizabeth Bathory, Marie Antoinette, Mona Lisa, etc. Both SNV and Majo Taisen was published in a Comic Zenon. Also the author of this manga is the same as the author of Kakegurui 

They are literally the same thing. Just change humans vs gods for witches vs witches.
