You might be looking at the synopsis and thinking, “Eh, it’s another royalty-revenge story cliché,” but don’t be so quick to write it off and judge it as just that. I’ve read many other manga that have a similar synopsis, but Your Throne stands out and comes out on top of the others.

Story: 8.5/10
We follow the story of Medea – an intelligent, calculating, feared villainess – who lost her position as crown princess to the naïve, pure, beloved Psyche. Medea thirsts for revenge, but things take a different turn when she swaps bodies with Psyche. She is overjoyed with this fate to cease the ... crown back but soon realizes that being in the body of the crown princess isn’t as good of a fate as it seems. After the body-swap incident, Medea and Psyche will grow to learn one another’s strengths and flaws, to support one another, and the truth of who has been manipulating everything behind the scenes. There are many good twists and unexpected events that occur throughout the story, enough to keep you on the edge of your seat and wondering what's going to happen next.

Characters: 9/10
My favorite thing about this manhwa. Medea isn’t just a typical badass female character whose main charm is knowing how to fight – she also has the intellect, perseverance, charisma, strength, independence, ferocity, cunningness, confidence to back it all up. She’s also not portrayed as a wholly morally good or bad character. She won’t hesitate to kill anyone who stands in her way, and the story doesn’t shy away from reminding us that she is a murderer. We are shown both her soft-hearted/kind and manipulative/cold-hearted side, but her character is fleshed out so well that the readers can’t help but still root for her. Her past is slowly revealed and gives us depth to her motivations and how she became the person she is. Unexpectedly, we also get as good of an amount of depth with Medea’s foil, Psyche, as we also follow her POV after she swaps bodies with Medea. You might think of her as a foolish, naïve, spoiled little girl in stark contract with Medea, but that is exactly the point and is what makes her have so much potential for a great amount of character development. The story mainly focuses on these two female MCs, but the other characters, like Helio (Medea’s childhood friend) and Eros (the crown prince), are also given a good amount of background. The story is still ongoing, so I look forward to learning more about them.

Never judge a story by its cover. I initially was hesitant to read it because the cover had the “glittery, happy, romance, shoujo” vibes which personally isn't my cup of tea, but I was far off and I’m so glad I gave it a chance. It does have some romance elements, but it’s not excessive and it’s just the right amount needed to advance the story. The art is dazzling in a darkly beautiful kind of way, especially when it comes to the chilling and insane expressions the characters sometimes make. It’s also amazing how the author is able to draw the subtle changes in the characters’ movements and demeanor so well that the readers can tell exactly how the characters feel.

Yeah, I enjoyed reading it a lot. Can’t really think of much else to add, but if you are interested in a revenge story featuring two badass female MCs who learn to persevere no matter what unexpected events/obstacles get in their way (with some romance, drama, and fantasy twists to it), I can’t recommend this one enough.

Now get ready for: a saintess and a villainess understanding and supporting each other. We love seeing women support each other uwu.

Story:
The story begins from the pov of Medeia, the villainess, so it seemed to be another villainess who wants revenge story. But after she switched bodies with Psyche, the saintess, they'll both discover the difficulties of the other and why the other did what they did. Slowly they'll start to repair their broken friendship and help each other overcome ... their difficulties.

Medeia and Psyche discover that the people around them aren't as they seem, and most importantly that they don't have to put up with their bs. And in order not to put up with the bs of others, they'll have to fight.
It starts with a simple story of a fight between two girls over a man, and slowly develops into a story about two girls and a boy (another boy, not the man they fought over thank god) helping each other overcoming their own demons and growing so much stronger mentally. They're both so badass.

Another thing I love is how they didn't do the "omg I was wronged" thing like other manhwas with villainesses. Both the villainess and the saintess admit to the reader what they have done. Surely, they've done those things for a reason, but that doesn't excuse their action. And they don't act as if their actions are excusable. I won't get into whether those actions are actually excusable, but it's good that the author doesn't make them hide.

Characters:
Enough depth and development. You'll also discover more and more about them throughout the story, as if with every few chapters another layer of their defence is being peeled off by the author.

Art:
Pretty good. Adds to the story.

If you are into drama, fantasy, mystery, tragedy and strategy this is definitely for you.

I think the characters development and their inner persona is the thing that catches me the most about this story. As the story progresses and you start discovering more things about the plot line, you'll start understanding the characters better and why they act the way they do.
Their interaction is another great thing about this section, the relationship between each one of them and the way they use each other to achieve their goals has a lot of depth within the story.
Now, our main character, Medea Solon, is ... a clever clever strategist who will always be a step ahead of everyone else, she may come at first as a cruel bitch who happens to be overpowered but no, you'll find out more about her once you're immersed in the story.

Art> 10/10

This is very subjective but the art is very pleasing to the eye, there are no disproportions (outside of what a Manhwa style is, of course), the palette used is exquisite; deep and mesmerizing colors, firm outer lines and a sense of smoothness in the scenes where there's a lot of movement. The amount of details used for clothing, architecture, room setting and background is simply excellent.

The only reason why I'm not giving it a 10 is because the story is not over yet and I do not know which twists and turns it will take, however as far as I've gotten, everything has been interesting as heck.
I'll try to write this without spoiling it.
My first impression on the plot was a bit of boredom, it starts off with royalty and drama for the prince crown, however as I said before, as you read forward everything becomes more twisted and more interesting, you learn about each character's past and start to understand how and why they have become what they've become.
The story telling is good, the English translation on Webtoon is great too.
Everything is perfectly put together, however there may be a few times where you may be lost with the timeline or with some character's backstory. Also, note that there's a lot of planning and strategy-making in this comic, so you may or may not understand what's going on until it is completely revealed.

I've simply come to enjoy so much this Webtoon, it is exactly my cup of tea and the mind blowing intelligence and scheming there is as well as the strength of the female characters mainly is probably one of the things I love the most when I'm reading comics as such. Nothing left to add, I fully recommend it.

One of the best FEMALE PROTAGONISTS! There are two protagonists: Medea (mainly Medea tho) and Psyche.

Medea is smart, strong, manipulative (in a smart way), EVIL (shes not pure or anything which makes it better), and she has everyone wrapped around her finger.

Psyche is initially pure and weak making irrational decisions. In the beginning you would find her annoying, but the character development is AMAZING! Like she becomes so LIKEABLE! She becomes stronger and more manipulative (in a good and smart way). Although she may be physically weak, she knows still a great character!

Every character (even the antagonists) are actually great! Like you hate ... them but then you cant help but love them too! The male characters are great as well tbh. All are smart and strong.

I love seeing Medea's development with each character and her relationship with them especially Psyche.

Now everyone, go read and bow down to Medea (and Psyche)!

What should I say really, if not THE BEST, then one of the best webtoons I've ever read on the app.

The characters' development and different personalities, the storyline, the drawing... a 10 out of 10. ​Before reading it you might think is your typical romance webtoon surrounding royal families. However, this one keeps you on edge every single chapter because of new twists coming through. There's romance? yes, maybe a little bit. But it's the type of romance you need just once in a while 'cause you'll be busy being entertained by Medea's and Psyche's charm, by the beforehand process from the author regarding ... its lore... There's no even much explanation needed but the recommendation of READING it to understand what I want to express.

Your Throne innovates and perfectly describes the term "masterpiece". I even have the guts to say THIS should be made into an anime, without losing any of its essence.

Take it as grain of salt before proceed, i keep it simple because yea i drop this after take a break read this for a month

Everything good, the scheme, and the politic everything good. Strong woman figure, badass Medea who beat everyone on her way. Art is top notch i cant agree anymore, they use dark palate which really fit the theme of Politic play and scheme play. Sadly, i was thinking there is no romance, no single bit of romance, maybe barely romance like they are married or they are engaged or something like that. But no, they decide use romance tag, make it ... very toxic relationship (as someone who are snowflake, i dont like toxic relationship). Medea x Helio was the one probably ship because Helio always in Medea side, what i get? Ofc Medea just care Helio as tool not a partner in crime or more than it. Also this series contain r*pe which meaning they take this to whole level. Psyche also strong woman figure after betrayal and betrayal, she is probably the only that receive major char development which lead i like her even though she is one who ruin my favorite character, Medea. Also there is another problem, the plot feel like stretching really hard. They know the enemy, they have time to do it, they just make a plan, Guess what? THEY DIDNT, they just ignore it and make themselves busy with their own life. I mean the character sole goal right now is take revenge but no, just stretch the plot even more. Another problem is there is so many plothole, some part leftover unexplained (I read it 2 months ago, so i cant give u clue, u will notice it later)

Conclusion, I kinda disappointed how this story dragged elsewhere, also with half-hearted relationship, i drop it for now, Not gonna lie, i dont like drop this masterpiece until i realize this story will go nowhere. Mixed Feeling, for me its deserve 10/10 if the story doesnt drag elsewhere and focus on revenge only. I recommended the story one when woman use time travel thing instead this one, this one is good if u drop it after Medea revenge her father

When I first saw this manhwa I thought it was going to be a typical isekai, reborn as the villainess and must kill the b^tchy female lead kind of story. I was completely wrong. Medea is a girl boss and I love her relationship with Psyche, the other female lead. The story isn't cliche and both girls don't hate each other, which I love the sense of sisterhood they have. They both work together to destroy the evil men in their lives (Medea's father, Crown Prince Eros) and slowly start to overcome their insecurities and become stronger.

The character development is amazing in this story, especially ... Psyche's. She starts off as a naive, innocent, spoilt princess but develops into a badass, headstrong and down-to-earth lady while still remaining kind and gentle. We also see Medea start to oppose her father and make her own decisions rather than obeying her father. The female leads are amazing but I also hope the males in the story get more character development, especially Helio, who is my favourite character.

There were also many plot twists in the story, to which I won't spoil any, but most were enjoyable and brought more suspense and drama into the plot. I love the relationship between Medea and Psyche, and Medea and Perion, its really unique to see two girls who aren't fighting over a guy who doesn't love them and a woman being seen as an equal to a man. The art was mesmerizing and the detail in the character's jewelry and dresses are fantastic, you can really see how wealthy some of the characters are. I often find myself going back to look at a picture because it was really well drawn.

Overall, I'll give it a 8 but the manhwa is not finished so this won't be my final rating. Definitely recommend.

I never write reviews, I prefer to keep my opinions to myself, however this work led me to want to give something of importance that was useful before starting with this story.

Like other reviews, I start by praising the author's original and well done story, especially the unique development of the story and the wonderful construction of characters that made me feel happy, angry and sad, making characters charismatic and so real is not something that anyone can achieve. I admire works that are so incredible that they make us feel emotions and be part of the story.

But as you can see this review is ... not a recommendation, after having lived each chapter with complete intrigue and a lot of emotion, I could not stand how the main weapon of the work was completely distorted. From the initial approach with which the work begins, it would be a 10/10 or 20/10. This makes it hard to say after 100 chapters, but it destroys a fundamental part of the character building that drew me to read the story. To say it in a way, I respect that the author has taken this course, however, there are 1000 works that I have avoided reading because the development is not to my liking or interest, and it is precisely this point that makes me reflect and pause or stop reading this series.


The author ends his work as he wants, I have no problem with that, what I did not expect is that the very course of the series itself would be another development in the middle of the story. To be more sincere, it's kind of a bad thing to criticize a work without knowing its ending, however, maybe I was disappointed for having expected more from a work that was on its way to being a masterpiece and my favorite.

To conclude, beyond the drama of the work, its development leads to context toxic relationships that were not evident at the beginning, as I mentioned, there are texts and stories for all audiences and tastes, I detest harems, love polygons and toxic relationships. Some of these themes entered this work halfway as important and relevant to the development of the story and managed to disappoint me and not want to read again. Also, the development of the characters is far from the initial proposal that were given in the introductions of the work and as it progresses the things that were done at the beginning.

I am grateful to have read this story but it is not something I want to finish.
