Sport manga with amazing characters and story. Even if you don't enjoy ice skating give it a try you won't regret it.

It is about a girl who competes in the women's single ice skating team. Together with her coach, she aims to become an Olympic gold medalist. One More Jump is a shoujo manga, so it has a romantic element. If you read it during the Winter Olympics, you will enjoy the skating games more than usual!

Both are about a protagnist with self esteem issues finding passion in a sport [dancing for Wandance while ice skating for Medalist] and their journeys in how their respective sport helps them with their respective issues. Both of them also have some of the greatest art I have seen in a manga espescially Wandance with thw way it potrays dancing [movement] in manga form. They are both good character dramas with emphasis on character exploration and personal growth.

Medalist is about a girl who works hard to compete in figure skating. She initially faced struggles because she started late, but she gradually mastered more difficult skills–similar to Mitsuki who gradually masters high-level skills.

Both MCs continue to practice their sports because they love doing it.

In both mangas the main character is a shy kid that wants to practice a sport that has moved him (figure skating in Medalist and dancesport in Sesuji wo Pin!), but the other characters have been practicing that sport for years. Will they be able to win any competition?

Goated female protagonists becoming the absolute best they can be at their respective craft.

Main cast of children with strong characterization, and their teachers that help them grow. Both is similar in how they put importance on the student-teacher relationships, and slowly showing how the childrens and adults affect or inspire each other - giving depths to both children and adult characters.
