Preliminary Spoiler

Preliminary (27/78 chp)
This manga doesn't have any fight or significant ethical questions, it's just some girl with some destruction god. In the most chill manga in jump history. It doesn't stand over the rest because it's not the same kind of read. You are not there to see some master writing or amazing fights and drawings. You are just there to see what kind of trouble did Magu-chan get into that week. Honestly just the best read of all time. The happiest moments of my Sunday jump reading are with this amazing creature called magu-chan
The review has to be longer so I'll talk about maguchan
The cutest creature ...

An ending can redefines a story, whether better or worse.

Some great series have been ruined by their bad ending, some series have been saved by their good endings and this manga's ending has elevated it to further beyond. This series has saved me from the hell of bad endings in this industry that came out recently. So many series have bad endings that made me lose faith in the ending writing skill of the authors. The ending of this series should be in the textbook of "How to write a proper ending".

While the art style is unpleasant for many people, it is more than enough ...

Every week I open Shonen Jump and hastily read the new chapter of Magu-chan, looking forward to seeing what he's up to this week, whether it's discovering something new or attempting to add new friends to his "Book of the Destruction Disciples' Blood Oaths" Magu is always interesting and a nice break from the fast-paced action or in-depth story that you normally find in Shonen Jump.

Magu and Ruru make one of the best duos I've seen in a while, they're attitudes to each other are refreshing and enjoyable to watch, seeing how they react to settings/characters is a joy and I wholly recommend reading ...

As of this review, this shounen jump manga has ended. It wasn't the most outstanding, but I looked forward to the new chapter every week. It's super chill, had some bits where I would laugh, and overall a wholesome read to wind down from all the action packed series in shounen jump.

Although it seemed like the series could've continued a bit more, it was probably axed. HOWEVER, usually when series are axed, the ending is abrupt and hardly makes sense. I have to say, following this series since its first chapter, the ending was perfect and had a tearful goodbye.

I really hope this manga ...

Mixed Feelings
Preliminary (41/78 chp)
This is the type of manga that has no "redeemable qualities" or anything in particular that makes it stand out, yet somehow still gets you to continue reading while relaxing your mood.

A perfect read for when you're at work and have a break or when you're tired at home and just want to read something relaxing. It's when you feel you just need a break from high octane high production value tryhard art and give something more relaxed and down to earth a try. During those times, this manga hits the spot perfectly.

The story arcs, if you can call them that are very short and ...

Please give it already an anime! I love so much this manga, and i love the little monsters and the gag, they are amazing. It surely the success it has. everyone is so adorable. MAGU CHAN IS THE BEST ANIME COMPANION OF EVER, for some aspects I have to say it reminds me so much of Keroro Gunso, maybe this is a reason I appreciate it though
Not only Magu, even Naputaku, Uneras, this manga has many great opportunities for the future, I cannot understad why everyweek people litteraly refuse to read it... it's very good, give it a try

I decided to dedicate my first review to a manga that ended one month ago at the time of writing so I'm just going to get this over with.

Story: 8/10
Magu Chan is a simple slice of life series about a girl who finds the god of destruction Mag Menuek as the form of a cute little squid in which they go on and have daily misadventures with a colorful cast of characters. For the most part, I like their daily misadventures which are a nice break from all the shounen battle series currently serializing in Shounen Jump. I also got some Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid ...

Mixed Feelings
Short version
- Overall (5/10):
‘Magu-chan: God of Destruction’ is a wholesome comedy slice of life, which remained behind it’s expectations. The author clearly missed adding some kind of goal or a redline to bring out the full potential of his/her great characters. 60-70% of the manga are boring/generic one-chapters, but the monster designs and the bigger, wholesome arcs definitely helps to enjoy it until the end.

Long version
- Story (3/10):
To start with the worst part, let us begin with the story. Our protagonist, Ruru, finds a supernatural being similar to an octopus, Magu-chan, at the shore of the little island where she lives. From this moment ...
