Even though this is a very shonen manga with some clichés here and there, I loove Wind breaker. I don't have to turn on my brain to appreciate this wholesome found-family story. That's personally why I read it. There's a lot of fighting, but at the same time, too much dialogue to really appreciate if the fighting is any good (the anime did a really good job showing the fighting moves though).
The art is pretty solid too! I don't know about early chapters, but definitely, in the 100+, there have been a few breath-taking drop panels. I like that they also get bloody. Like you
...
an actually see where they got hit, and it's not just some scratches or bruises lol.
Its a nice read, it's got some emotional scenes, I especially loved the arc with that old man (you'll know what I'm talking about if you read it). I loved how they handled it. I'll be honest, its hit me right in the feels. I am a big sucker for found-families.
I guess I'm worried about where the series will go from here, 'cause it seems like they already went through a huge battle as far as high school boys can get into lol. The one thing they could do is delve more into the current characters though. Another thing that bothers me is how unrealistic it all seems. I mean, no police, no teachers, no education. They're all good guys but they aren't learning anything at all XD I'm worried about their future.

This is a nice light-hearted anime. Even though the anime has all the reasons to be a deeply dramatic and dark show, it is instead about a guy who seems to be picking himself up with some help and fishing.
The best part for me, is that the main character isn't overly against trying anything, or always grumpy or angry. I feel like a lot of animes that deal with mc's who are in a dark place, make them so angry and hate the world, giving more agnst and drama. That in itself isn't a bad thing, but it's also true that realistically, you'll get someone
...
like our mc, and that makes him more relatable.
I would definitely reccommend this to people who want a feel good anime, though I am only finished episode 5 by the time I publish this review. I'll update later again once it's finished.

As of this review, this shounen jump manga has ended. It wasn't the most outstanding, but I looked forward to the new chapter every week. It's super chill, had some bits where I would laugh, and overall a wholesome read to wind down from all the action packed series in shounen jump.
Although it seemed like the series could've continued a bit more, it was probably axed. HOWEVER, usually when series are axed, the ending is abrupt and hardly makes sense. I have to say, following this series since its first chapter, the ending was perfect and had a tearful goodbye.
I really hope this manga
...
won't be the last from this author. I'll be looking out for more of their works in the future now!

Holy moly, I wish more people knew about this hilarious masterpiece. If you want to read a manga with lovable characters, completely ridiculous humor, and good art, please, I recommend the read! Quite similar to Assassination classroom.
It is such a fun manga, and has some wholesome moments too. Honestly, for a gag manga, it has a lot of more serious foreshadowing and questions on characters. As the most recent volume I've read (vol 10) there are still many questions to be answered, and it seems like they aren't rushing into them either! The pacing of the story is just perfect for a gag manga.
The art
...
style was always my favorite, but it improves even more with each volume. I would say the art is very similar to toilet-bound hanako-kun!
Characters are so lovable. Our main character is so weird and crazy, but so sweet. He may seem very cowardly in the first few chapters, but I guarantee there is character growth. The other teachers and students all eccentric in their own way too. They all get proper spotlights, growth and remain very memorable!
Do note that, as the story is mostly about the life of a teacher and his students in a surreal setting, the story doesn't really have a clear end goal. Its mostly about their not-so-ordinary daily lives. It makes for a good read when you need some laughs and a not-so-serious story!

I was really looking forward to the series ever since the first PV came out. The art, music and comedy are all great.
I'm writing this review as of the release of episode 7, and I honestly feel disappointed. I feel almost nothing for the characters. Its like a giant salad toss of characters besides Hina, Youta and Izanami (just barely). They all don't feel particularly close to one another, and that celebrity lady is such a random addition to the cast. The backstory of a "certain side character" felt really forced and really random considering the setting of the episode it was aired in.
...
The randomness makes characters feel shallow and also makes the story feel forced.
I'm sure my rating will go up when it gets to the end because I am a sucker for tear-jerkers, but I was really upset about the recent episodes so I had to write this.

Nakitai Watashi wa Neko wo Kabeuru was a cute movie with a pretty good soundtrack. But it lacked a lot of depth overall in its story telling, characters and overall presentation of scenes.
story/presentation : 6
The movie just felt flat. Not saying that it was unoriginal. I enjoyed the story for what its worth. However, it lacked that heart-pulling factor. The romance just felt like it wasn't there, and the issues of the main character weren't directly addressed either in the end. This wasn't a very good thing as those two were the biggest themes the movie had going for it.
The climax of the movie
...
wasn't very climatic either. The music was kinda choppy during the climax and many parts just felt bland. If I had to compare the climax to a height, it was like walking up a kiddie hill.
characters: 7
A lot of people say they didn't like the weirdness of the characters, but I kinda enjoyed these quirky characters. Its very anime-like to have a few loose screws. I even thought it was cute. But a few characters were quite flat as well. Things resolved too quickly and too "good to be true" in my opinion.
I have to say, I liked what they did with the mc's best friend though. Most films have them play super minor roles, but the best friend showed more care to the mc and actual friendship. Cause usually people play it off with super clingy friends, but she wasn't like that, so props to them.
Art & music: 9
The art was as expected from an anime movie. It was cute and worked well with the characters funny expressions and weirdness. The music was my favorite part of the music too. If they placed music better in the movie though, that would have made the movie more moving in the scenes that needed it. It's such a shame too, since the soundtrack is good.
enjoyment: 7
I do want to give praise to this movie, despite the rating I give it. If I'm correct, this is one of the productions first film making, besides an animated short, so for their first time, this is a good film. I liked the 2 main characters and the reference to the sun's scent was very cute. I can't say the movie was moving, but it was a cute watch. I hope to see more movies from them someday.

The jujutsu kaisen series is enjoyable. I could reread it and not get bored, but it is a series that feels like its not matching up to its potential. Every chapter feels like its lacking something define to it.
Story: 7
The story line is pretty good. They have a lot set up for future chapters, but it isn't something never seen. If you have read the synopsis, you could tell. Very similar to blue exorcist, but it has its own sparks that make it more enjoyable. For a series with around 100 chapters thus far though, it feels like its one big rush and sometimes
...
the storyline becomes vague. They timeskip in unexpected places and you feel like you missed a chapter or two. You would also expect some of those "set up for future chapters" to come in, but its just plot holes after plot holes. However, the series has so much to give if the plot thickens. The timeskips bother me, but its not enough reason for me to stop reading.
Character: 7
There wasn't enough character interactions. One minute you meet a new character, and they time skip and become best friends. The characters are quite hollow as of now and I feel like they could all be likable characters if we could see them interact more. There is not enough insight of the mc's thoughts either. I would say the author might be focusing more on the action thriller aspect of the story, but gives up on showing the characters actually just chilling with each other. Though it would definitely benefit the story telling if we had some insight on the personal turmoil's in the characters.
Art: 9
The art is perfect for deciphering the characters emotions and the author knows how to angle the scene in a way that pulls readers into the world. I can't say its beautiful, but I like the sketchy and simple style it has as it fits the vibe of the manga.
Enjoyment: 8
It is a really enjoyable series so far. It certainly kept me reading despite all that its missing. The mc is a likable character as well. You will find that the story doesn't really revolve around just the mc either, the same way that Gon is to hunterxhutner actually.
Conclusion
There is just so much the series could become, but it hasn't gotten there yet. It will be an action packed, interesting read for you to pass the time for sure though, so don't skip out!

A lot of people would find this movie probably just a big mess of throwing characters in from every arc and so not a lot of actual dialogue went on between returning characters with the straw hats. But I feel the purpose of this movie, since this is the 20th anniversary movie of one piece, was trying to fit all the characters in and bring back some memories from the pass and how far they've come. So as a long time fan, this movie was the perfect amount of excitement. I am bias so would give it 10/10,
...
but just the movie itself I would give a 7/10, so my rating Is closer to 9/10.
The art was really all over the place, I can tell they were really trying for that 3d animation there, and included all these different art styles. A scene when the main villain takes his "form" , that scene was just straight out of like a King Kong movie and didn't match the rest of the one piece movie art at all, but it kinda worked for me? Like he looked pretty epic in that scene and it made me feel like, damn that is Stampede right there. The fact that the art and animation was just all sorts of styles kinda made me feel like, "Yup, that's One Piece for ya."
Overall it was still good old One Piece. It had great comedy bits, and although not fully emotional scenes, they were somewhat present. This movie I felt really covered most of the One Piece journeys feelings pretty well. So nvm the story, it was just a fun get-together festival.

The God Of High School is a manhwa I have been reading for a long time, and I'm glad it's finally on MAL. Okay so summary, the story is about a "high schooler" named Mori-Jin who, along with people from all over the world are invited to this giant fighting competition to determine who is the strongest and earn the title, The God Of high school (G.O.H tournament). This series is definitely incredible, but with every series comes with a few issues. I will try to make this review as honest as possible and hope
...
it helps you decide whether this is worth the 394 chapter read (still ongoing) or not.
Story: 8/10
Although some people may be taunted by the 300+ chapters, thinking that the pacing will be too slow, no worries, that's just shows you how much detail and development they put into each chapter. Each chapter is filled to the brim with important details, not a single waste of a chapter. They got their relaxing chapters from time to time, but only because the story is just so intense. It is a very complex storyline, but its still somehow keeping it linear. The only thing I have a problem is with the abrupt change of plot from arc to arc. It went from a high school tournament to the end of the world. The story get's really interesting for sure, but at this point, I found myself waiting weeks before starting to read the piled updates because of how drastic the changes were. It was like running to the other side of the continent and back. This happens for the 3-4 big arcs. The transition from arcs are just very forced to me. Overall it ends up fixing itself, but still bothers me.
Art 10/10
The chapters at the beginning already had a unique style of art going for it, but later on the art becomes incrdible. The details they put into each panel is amazing. It's very fluid and not rigid. The fight scenes can be paintings I would buy. It's that amazing. If I had to compare, it's equivalent to the praise people give to the Fate series fight scenes. Not to mention, since it's hugely based on martials art, they literally draw every part of the characters movement. I thought I was watching a animation moving. And not just the backgrounds and characters, but the characters emotions are really fleshed out because of the art. In turn, those raw emotions coming from just their expression pulls you in. Their is absoulutely nothing wrong with the art and nothing I would change.
character 9/10
Every character in The God Of High School are very memorable. They all had their own quirks and the character designs were very unique from one another. Especially the 3 main characters. They are very well developed and the manhwa shows you their growth all the way from day one. From their friendship to their own personal pasts, they learn and it actually sticks with them. Not just them, but you kind of just get personal with all the characters at a certain level. The characters are very complicated people and I sometimes think they are causing more drama for themselves then they need to, but that's how people are supposed to be anyways. The reason I wouldn't give it a 10/10 is because they sometimes drastically change a part of the character and get rid of all their "development" in one go. It makes for great plot twits, but sometimes it's just so random.
Enjoyment: 8/10
Well yeah! I enjoyed it! The comedy is good, and it makes the characters have more ways to bond than just fighting. Since this manwha is heavily based on fighting though, sometimes it can go on for chapters and waiting for an update was a pain haha. I'm also not one for drama, and it gets a lot more juicy the more you go, so I gave it an 8 for personal reasons, but if you're up for some of that in-depth drama AND action adventure, change this score as if I said it was a 10/10!
overall: 9/10
Overall thoughts, it's GOOD, and based a lot on the fighting and story. They don't got time for fillers haha. You could call some stories fillers, but I think of them as character development for future chapters. I highly reccommend giving this series a try.
