Suicide Girl and The Promised Neverland are two horror manga with an extremely energetic female protagonist. The main character has to save her kind from demons that try and take advantage of them. The art style in both manga are great, with a somewhat "inconsistent" yet bold style that exaggerates characters' faces when they are expressing intense emotions. Definitely read either of these if you like seeing crazy amounts of details in a drawing or extremely crazy-looking faces. 

Both series center on odd yet determined female protagonists who, despite engaging closely with death, ultimately fight for the happiness of those around them. They both feature horror-tinged action scenes and yuri undertones, although Suicide Girl's fights tend to be flashier and more fantastical (in typical magical girl fashion), while Satsuki's action scenes are more closely based in high-school reality. 

Suicide Girl and Puella Magi Madoka Magica are two magical girl manga aimed for older men, as seen with stuff like mentions of suicide and several characters having tragic backstories. The demons that the magical girls fight in both manga appear quite grotesque and/or otherworldly, and they cause the negative emotions in people to manifest and cause them to kill themselves. Despite the grim atmosphere, the main character's relatively more upbeat attitude shines through, so the story is not completely (and literally) hopeless. 

Suicide Girl seemingly starts off as a parody for magical girl stories in the same vein as Sailor Moon, as it even pokes fun at various magical girl tropes (like the main character running late with toast in her mouth and "the PreCure jump") in the beginning. But as the title suggests, it quickly becomes a lot darker than most stories in the genre, and is perhaps more similar to the similarly dark Sailor Moon manga. The artwork in both manga are pretty amazing as well. 

Both of these center around suicide. Of note is however that they take wildly different approach to the topic. Yet I'm still recommending them as similar because I think it's interesting to see the juxtaposition between those two takes.
