I definitely recommend it for every fan of toilet bound hanako-kun as a quick overview of how the series looked at the begining.
In my opinion some of the concepts were better than the actual version we have now and some were worse. I liked the idea of one of the mysteries being Nene's ex boyfriend and Nene as a whole I think was a better character than she is now.

As for the art style it's noticeable way worse than the whole tbhk manga but it seems to be just a "draft" of the story and it isn't just that the creator's drawing skills ... were worse and I you can tell by looking at the one shot Dear My Living Dead which was made earlier but still looks as good as hanako-kun is looking now.

Speaking of Dear My Living Dead, I honestly enjoyed it more than tbhk itself and I'd be willing to pay to see at least short serialization of it. The plot was very original and very different from tbhk. The characters were also interesting and quite original and I'm very disappointed that it only has 74 pages.

Overall rating is 10/10 just because of the Dear My Living Dead

I absolutely adore Toilet Bound Hanako-kun, so right when I saw this I immediately read it. The art is amazing like always, and it's honestly amazing how much Aidarlo has improved. The "Dear My Living Dead" story was amazing, and caught me by surprise lol (I was wondering what it had to do with TBHK haha). Also, it's interesting to see how the characters change! Kou looked different (and Teru was never introduced), and Nene's story is also interesting! Of course, I think the current story is the best version, but I feel like before, Nene was a bit more interesting. Highly reccomend!

I know 7 may seem low for some people but I think that 5 is an average score, so 7 is fair. I enjoy the Hanako manga a lot. So when I heard about this chapter, I was very excited to read it.

STORY: Now I think the concept is very interesting. I like how AidaIro made the world of where the characters live like a gothic dystopian vibe. However, the story is not outstanding. I think the ending was pretty dark and unexpected but it wasn't like it was a big shock (obviously because it's just a one-shot chapter) I think I would've liked ... it if they had explained how the Living Dead worked better since it seemed a bit confusing.

ART: It's not as great as the other chapters but it's quite good, not much to say.

CHARACTER: I think for a one-shot chapter the characters are okay. I would've liked to see the characters more mature and rational. Lily was sort of annoying but it's not a big hurdle in the story.

ENJOYMENT: I enjoyed it a lot, again, the veryconcept is interesting. Not that much to say about it. It's a good, fair read.

As a prototype volume this was very good, maybe even too good. I enjoyed reading toilet bound volume 0 more than the actual series. The main series has too slow of pacing for my liking and reading something faced pace was very enjoyable. I would call this a rough draft for toilet bound that I wish was the actual thing. For the final chapter the author writes a conclusion for the 4 chapters and I hope that the author expands on that ending for the actual series. I can see it being a very good conclusion for the series if It follows the same structure. ... You don't have to read this volume, but if your're a fan of the series I would recommend reading because you can see how the author has improved and there's faster pacing. Overall I enjoyed this more than the actually series and I think it's a solid 8/10.
