Up to chapter 33 of the manga.
The story is just straight up well written, both the characters and the world have facets and are interesting. The manga tells about Tooru going on adventures as a semi experienced adventurer having years of training and being quite smart and stoic with cool companions that actually appear to be interesting plot wise.

The important antagonist all are pretty good written characters, they have motivations that feel real, real objectives and are not actually idiots. The strategic and creative thinking in battles is all based on before related information glimpsed from the story so I find it cool to see ... in action.

For the last part the world seems grounded with the magic system being a literal skill tree that appears in the soul which adventurers can use to level up as it were, there does not seem to be actual levels in the story, just the growth of a tree for each person. The cities and towns seem logical and well though out.

I give it a recommendation to read for almost anyone.
It should be a 8 in overall rating I think. At least a seven.

I typed up a pretty generic review of this manga, since this story is one of the many uninspired slow-life stories where the mc gradually gets stronger with his added harem members, but that review would be just as or even more generic/boring than the actual manga — instead, I’ll give a rundown of what to expect.

The characters are simply flat — the mc is as dry as a dry mc can be, and the fmc is just boring, as she has no other purpose than to be swooning over the mc or present herself as useful when the times comes.

The plot is incredibly ... slow and a bit random — random people or events are introduced to spice up the story, but the story then takes a foot off the gas and stalls around a certain nonessential development for whatever reason. I know the story is supposed to have this “family/homely-vibe,” where the character dynamics are progressed in such a way, but it’s a bit hard to connect to the characters due to how confusing the details of the world or story gets revealed.

The story does have somewhat of a cool-concept, but I can’t help but be a bit confused each time it is brought up — I wouldn’t say I’m the smartest individual out there when it comes to adapting and understanding world-building, but some of the explanations leave a lot to be questioned, which makes more and more plot holes, creating a further disconnect from the story.

As for the good, the story is just a cliche, relaxing read with very, very mild drama interfering with the mc’s development — in other words, it’s basically a slow-life manga with some small romantic-development. It could be relaxing, but it could also be a bit infuriating if you expected a bit more action or challenge.

Yeah, that’s about it; the story is just generic and comes off a bit uninspired with some of the forced cliches or character inserts. Nothing inherently wrong with the manga, but it just lacks suspense.
