Both stories have characters capable of seeing the supernatural and have certain anthological elements.

Both are VERY crazy and often disturbing mangas. Junji Ito was inspired by Kazuo Umezu's works, so there are many similarities. Uzumaki's art is way better, but KnHAnM is a classic

both are truly surreal horror stories of children drawn into psychotic events involving strangenesses which could only be drawn out of a fever dream.......both manga share a similarly sketchy, impressionistic, and very personal style of art.....and i recommend both.........
