Your Feelings Categories Jun 26, 2021 Art: 7/10 The art is quite good. It's not the most flashiest most detailed wonderful manga art, but it is still quite nice nontheless. Character: 8/10 Karen-san is just pure cute. The protagonist Haru is a cultured gentelmen who have great taste in women. Story: 8/10 ... Sep 13, 2021
I originally read the first 3 chapters of this manga awhile ago, and it was alright. Nothing special. Then I randomly got around to catching up with it recently, and I am honestly impressed. Maybe a 7/10 doesn't seem like it, but trust me, I expected it to be like a 5 or 6 at best.
Story 7/10: The basic premise is pretty generic/straight-forward. A young, bright-eyed, competent guy (Haru) meets an older woman (Karen) who is cool and competent in everything except love. He falls for her, and hilarious romantic pursuits follow. That WAS the story, except in the latest chapter (18), they just ... Sep 21, 2023
I don't usually write reviews so I'll be brief.
A fast summary would be: Wholesome romance comedy with great art and some ecchi. But one would surely be able to put too many manga inside that description, so, to tell what this one have above most others, I certainly need to point to the pacing. There's not that feeling of 2 steps forward followed by 2 steps backward found in SO MUCH of this genre and the characters are quite likable. I personally think more backstory or sidestory on the characters would be nice, but it's understandable if the autor ... Jul 27, 2023

Slight action mixed with a wholesome romance; what could possibly go wrong? Well, a lot of things: the uncomfortable art, drawn-out plot, and anticlimactic action scenes. Besides for the grueling age gap of 13 years (I don’t mind age gaps) between the mc and fmc, the art-style for the mc is entirely nerve-racking. The mc’s age is 16 years old but his character build is of a 12 year-old, which makes the shota bait even more obvious. I sort of wished the mc grew and changed more and more as the chapters went by, but it doesn’t happen and when it did it wasn’t ... Jan 30, 2022
At least it's not an isekai. But let me say, this is a first where I've read a manga getting worse, both in the story and in comedy, but also art.
Story: 5 The story's okay, not completely niche but fitting for a romance-comedy. Other than that, just serviceable, and you won't really get attached to any other characters other than our main two. It does also follow a linear story, might get boring but at least it's consistent in that way. But, I get very confused by the setting very often. Not just that, while the story very often has fan service, for some reason devolves into ... |
