I love this manga.
I came across it not even a month ago and I have read it maybe ten times already, I really wish there was more to read.
The art is very good, easy to 'read' and detailed without being overwhelming, the characters and the relationships they share are never cliché and develop soundly even though there are only 16 chapters so far, you can see attention to details even in little things, for instance Miyo's habit of touching her necklace whenever she is feeling fear, doubts or needs reassurance.
Plus, even tough we see Kami and other supernatural things in every chapter, I like

Touge Oni is really an excellent manga. It is, at this point, a bit episodic: the protagonists visit a sequence of gods (kami) on various missions. However, a larger, very clever plot involving time travel is beginning to coalesce.
I particularly liked chapters 3.5 and 6.5, which step back from the story to focus on the story's first villain. The author deftly humanizes a character who seems in the first chapter to be unambiguously cruel and monstrous. I expect to see more of this subtle characterization as the story progresses. The story's art is, in general, just satisfactory. One bright spot are the kami, which are massive ... Jul 6, 2021
Best manga, i've read so far, from my perspectives, it has everything that need to caught someone to liking the manga either male or female reader. From plot to character, from art-style to World building. Definitely a hidden gem that many people haven't noticed.
At first, i didn't expect anything when reading the manga, but soon realized i got addicted to this manga. the story is simple, yet had its own unique element. The character, each of their own had realistic personality and isn't exaggerating or force themselves to be cute. The interaction between them is keep developing in each chapter. It has about 40 ... This manga is a hidden gem.
The characters are good and varied, from a young girl that is to be sacrificed to a native japanese god, to a young "oni" that was once human yet became a monster, to their monk master that guides them as he makes his way towards one of the most powerful gods, whom he cherishes a lot and has become a monster. The story is episodic yet well written, with the overarching plot points being compelling enough to explain the actions of our characters. The "monsters of the week" as much as it pains me to call em that, are interesting, ... Oct 1, 2023
I have been looking for this for quite some time now and I'm happy I found it. It has been enjoyable and the storyline has some interesting twists and turns. Art is something that can be improved and the characters are definitely developing as the story unfolds. I love how the author incorporates Japanese mythology and some modern science and that makes it enjoyable for me. It also helps that the way the author has told the story in a easy way for the viewers to understand the terminologies and stuff. The only downside for me would be that it doesn't update as much as
