This manga is a hidden gem.
The characters are good and varied, from a young girl that is to be sacrificed to a native japanese god, to a young "oni" that was once human yet became a monster, to their monk master that guides them as he makes his way towards one of the most powerful gods, whom he cherishes a lot and has become a monster. The story is episodic yet well written, with the overarching plot points being compelling enough to explain the actions of our characters.
