Expressional silence. You don't need to make a face, and it does confuse a few indeed, for the better or for the worst? Usually for the worst. Both manga follow a female MC who is unable to express their feelings causing a little trouble for the other MC they are paired with, with all the time meaning no harm or trickery. Aharen and Kashiwada look similar too. Both are good comedy manga using the same idea over and over for the base of the story.

Both the female protags, have a hard time showing their emotions, one can't talk and other can't show emotions.

Both are school life romantic comedies told from the point of view of the male MC as he makes observations about the female MC. The female MC has a crush on him, although the male MC doesn't realize it yet.
