Expressional silence. You don't need to make a face, and it does confuse a few indeed, for the better or for the worst? Usually for the worst.
Both manga follow a female MC who is unable to express their feelings causing a little trouble for the other MC they are paired with, with all the time meaning no harm or trickery. Aharen and Kashiwada look similar too.
Both are good comedy manga using the same idea over and over for the base of the story.

Both mangas revolve around a female protagonist who's unable to express herself facially. Light-hearted and wholesome.

Both female protagonists can't seem to be able to fully express themselves - although they are quite emotional under the surface - which often leads to them getting misunderstood by others.
Both stories are quite wholesome (although the male protagonist in Kashiwada-san swears a bit too much in my opinion), cute and comedic.
