Dark Humour, check! Hilarious Story, check! Twisted Innocence, check! Both are dark comedy vibe manga that will definitely take you for a ride, they are short yet the story is composed to make it unique in its own right.

Both are relatively relaxed stories about the far future. The characters in both are cute and go on fun episodic adventures. Rojica does lean into an underlying darkness on occasion, whilst Sui to Neri is almost constantly sweet

Short stories take place in the post-apocalyptic world with the main characters being abandoned children and getting adopted by abnormal creatures. They look light-hearted and adorable on the surface but actually are dark and bear powerful messages.

They're both very sweet and lighthearted slice of life manga that reveal a twist at the end. TMs twists are a bit less dark and simply more realistic than RtRs, though.

Supernatural-esque slice of life manga where something about the world is off, and there's an underlying mystery to the setting. Both have their fair share of bittersweetness.

I know it's a weird one, but the two mangas talk about families that are weirdly arranged, and, surprisingly, it works. Chapters are heart-wrenching, and sometimes mind-blowing or breathtaking, with an omnipresent danger hiding behind obvious comedic elements. And, of course, in "Rojica to Rakkasei" there is a chapter about a big peanut that miraculously came to life. Peanut stories are always worth reading.

Both manga have cutesy art and episodic stories. Both manga also have darker tones beneath the surface that become more apparent as you read on

Both of these manga share much of the same spiritual and philosophical ideologies through their stories, and their respective ideologues are similarly as charming. The atmospheres are relatively different, but both have the bittersweet and emotional moments that affect the world around them as a whole as both the reader and the characters get a grasp as for what they don't understand yet. The human condition factor is very strong in both of these.
