The 2007 version of the manga with the same name. Both have similar themes and plots. In Kimi ni Shika Kikoenai, a girl, unable to get her own cellphone, imagines one in her mind. But suddenly, someone actually calls her--a woman; she also ends up talking with a boy whom she ends up having feelings for. Both manga have tragic elements and also have characters where the main character's future self contacts them.

Same artist, same author. They both convey a similiar feeling or sensation. Both are sad stories, about lonely children who are drawn together by some supernatural event or condition.

Sad drama stories about distance between people and also distance in love. In both characters try to reach themselves, but in another way. Both have the same, melancholic feeling, though Kimi ni Shika Kikoenai is more dramatic.

They are both short stories with a very similar atmosphere. They both share melancholic bittersweet plots and delicate romance with a quite tragic end. They're both great mangas.

Both manga are rather short and tell a bittersweet, tragic story about two beings that teaches you something for life and makes you think about the future.

Both are stories about the inability to speak and about wanting to hear somebody's voice, even if it seems impossible at first. The atmosphere is in both works is serious and heavy, although giving off a spark of hope.

The similarity of both mangas are uncanny. I can't help but remember Kimi ni shika Kikoenai while reading Can't See Can't Hear But Love. Both have a very inspiring story that will make you cry not because it's heartbreaking but because its touching. Similarity: KNSK - The guy is both blind and deaf but due to a supernatural event, the girl could be able hear his inner voice through talking in minds. CSCHBL - The main guy was blind and the main woman was deaf While KNSK is more about supernatural, the main point of both stories is that they both show hope and light to the readers despite  read more

Although they have different plots both feature: - One of the protagonists lost their ability to speak. - The main guy tries to help the main girl to overcome her trauma. - The main girl is a loner and does not have any friends. - Both have beautiful art.

Despite having different settings and plot events, both are heartbreaking masterpieces about short-lived happiness and a love that cannot be realized due to a harsh twist of fate. Be sure to prepare loads of tissues, buckets of tears are most likely to fall.

the same story about a girl with a imaginary cell phone is in both manga by different artist... even if they're by different artists, i still cry over the story no matter how many times i read T-T

In these two publications, the similarity arises in the way the concept of communication is explored. However, they are not overly the same in nature and this recommendation is merely planted in their strong focus on communication - particularly communication mediums.
